Viktor Minibaev
Viktor Eduardovich Minibaev ( rus, Виктор Эдуардович Минибаев, , ˈvʲiktər mʲɪnʲɪˈba(ɪ̯)ɪf; born 18 July 1991) is a Russian diver who has won medals at World and European level and competed at three Olympic Games. Career Minibaev's first major international medal came in the men's synchronized 10 metre platform event at the 2010 European Championships. Minibaev competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the men's synchronized 10 metre platform (with Ilya Zakharov) and the men's 10 m platform. At the European Championships that year, he won silver in both events. With Artem Chesakov, Minibaev won silver at the 2013 World Championships in the men's synchronised 10 m platform event. In 2015, in a World Championships on home ground in Kazan, Minibaev won a bronze medal in that event with Roman Izmailov. Eden Cheng
Eden Cheng (born 2 December 2002) is an English elite diver representing Great Britain and England. She won her first major medal in 2018 at the age of 15, when she won the gold medal at the European Championships in the 10 metre platform synchro with Lois Toulson. Early life Cheng was born in London in 2002 to Chinese immigrants. She studied at Alleyn's School in Dulwich, London. She previously went to Streatham and Clapham Junior School. She took up diving after being inspired during the 2012 London Olympics. She joined Crystal Palace Diving where she trains under Chen Lin. In 2022, Cheng moved to California and dives with the UCLA women's diving team. Career Cheng started competing as a junior in 2013 and was a National champion a number of times. Noah Oliver Williams (born 15 May 2000) is an English Diving (sport), diver who represents Great Britain and specialises in the 10 metre platform event. He has won silver medals in the 10 metre synchro platform with Matthew Dixon (diver), Matthew Dixon at the European Championships (multi-sport event), European Championships and the Commonwealth Games. Early life Williams is from Hoxton in Hackney, London. He was about nine when he first tried diving – while at school, he saw a leaflet from Crystal Palace Diving seeking talent and went to try out the sport, and was accepted. He received support from Hackney's Youth Sports Fund and won the Hackney Sports Awards for six years. He now trains at the London Aquatics Centre. Noemi Batki (born 12 October 1987) is a Hungarian-born Italian former diver. She was a member of the Italian National Diving Team at four Olympic Games and was a member of the sports section of the Italian Army, Centro Sportivo Esercito, and Triestina Nuoto. Career Batki was born in Budapest, Hungary. Her mother Ibolya Nagy was a Hungarian platform diver who took part in the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona. At the age of 3 Batki moved to Belluno, Italy. In 2004, Batki won her first medals at the Junior European Championships in Aachen, Germany. Constantin Popovici (born 2 October 1988 in Bucharest) is a Romanian platform diver. In 2019, he became the first Romanian to achieve a first-place finish at a stop of the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series. He is the 2022 European champion in the 27 metre high dive. He has won multiple medals as part of the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series and he won the bronze medal in the 27 metre high dive event at the Abu Dhabi Aquatics Festival in 2021.
