2018–2020 CEV Beach Volleyball Continental Cup
The 2018–2020 CEV Beach Volleyball Continental Cup were a beach volleyball double-gender event. Teams representing European countries were split into groups of four, where an elimination bracket determined the two teams to advance to the next stage from the sub-zones. Beach Volleyball
Beach volleyball is a team sport played by two teams of two to four players each on a sand court divided by a net. Similar to indoor volleyball, the objective of the game is to send the ball over the net and to ground it on the opponent's side of the court. Each team also works together to prevent the opposing team from grounding the ball on their side of the court. Teams are allowed up to three touches to return the ball across the net, and individual players may not touch the ball twice consecutively except after a touch off an attempted block. Making a block touch leaves only two more touches before the ball must be hit over. The ball is put in play with a serve—a hit by the server from behind the rear court boundary over the net to the opponents. The receiving team typically uses their three touches to pass the ball, set it up for an attack, and then attack the ball by sending it back over the net. Nico Beeler
Christa Päffgen (; 16 October 1938 – 18 July 1988), known by her stage name Nico, was a German singer, songwriter, actress, and model. Nico had roles in several films, including Federico Fellini's ''La Dolce Vita'' (1960) and Andy Warhol's ''Chelsea Girls'' (1966). At the insistence of Warhol, she sang lead on three songs of the Velvet Underground's debut album ''The Velvet Underground & Nico'' (1967). At the same time, she started a solo career and released '' Chelsea Girl'' (1967). Her friend Jim Morrison suggested that she start writing her own material.
