2018–19 Serie A (women)
The 2018–19 Serie A (women) is the 52nd season of the women's football top level league in Italy. Juventus is the defending champions. The season is scheduled to run from 15 September 2018 to 20 April 2019. Teams Two teams finished at the bottom of the league and were relegated at the end of the 2017-18 season: Empoli and San Zaccaria. Brescia, who finished second in Serie A last season, AGSM Verona who finished seventh and Res Roma who finished eighth, sold their licenses respectively to Milan, Hellas Verona and Roma. Serie A (women's Football)
The Serie A (), also called Serie A Femminile TIM due to sponsorship by TIM, is the highest league of women's football in Italy. Established in 1968, it has been run by the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) since the 2018–19 season, and currently features 10 teams. The most successful club in the league’s history is Torres, who have won seven times. The current Serie A champions are Juventus, who won each of the last four years. As of the 2021–22 edition, the Serie A is ranked ninth in the UEFA women's coefficient, and the top two teams qualify for the UEFA Women's Champions League. The Serie A became fully-professional from the 2022–23 season, removing the salary cap and allowing teams to pay their players a higher wage. Stadio (literally, ''Stadium'') is an Italian pop rock band formed in 1977. The members are Giovanni Pezzoli (drums), Roberto Drovandi (bass guitar), Andrea Fornili (guitar), and Gaetano Curreri (vocals and keyboard). Formation and early recordings The group had a long-standing arrangement as an accompanying band to Lucio Dalla, a Bologna-born singer. Stadio had its first notable public appearance in the mid-1970s, when the group appeared on Lucio Dalla's 1975 collaborative album with Roberto Roversi, '' Anidride Solforosa'' (Italian for "sulfur dioxide"). The members of Stadio on this album were Giovanni Pezzoli playing the drums, Marco Nanni playing the bass and Fabio Liberators playing the keyboard. Bitetto ( Barese: ; la, Vitetum, or ) is a town and ''comune'' in the Metropolitan City of Bari, Apulia, Italy. Main Sights The main attraction of Bitetto is the cathedral, dedicated to Saint Michael, one of the main examples of Apulian Romanesque architecture, built in 1335. It has a sober façade divided by false columns with a big rose window. Of the three portals, the central one has a rich series of sculptures: two stone lions supporting columns with carved capitals showing vegetable motifs; these in turn support is a lunette with basreliefs of Christ and the twelve apostles.
