2018–19 Rink Hockey Euroleague
The 2018–19 Rink Hockey Euroleague is the 54th season of Europe's premier club roller hockey tournament organised by World Skate Europe-Rink Hockey Committee, and the 22nd season since it was renamed from European Champion Clubs' Cup to Euroleague. The defending champions Barcelona were eliminated by Porto in the semi-finals. In the final, Sporting CP beat Porto 5–2 to win their second trophy in the competition, while Porto lost their 10th consecutive final and 12th overall. Team allocation Association ranking For the 2018–19 Rink Hockey Euroleague, the associations were allocated places according to their coefficient, which takes into account the performance of each association's representative teams in European competitions between the 2014–15 and the 2017–18 seasons. Pavilhão João Rocha
Pavilhão João Rocha is a multi-sports pavilion located in Lisbon, next to the Estádio José Alvalade and it is the home of Sporting CP sports. The pavilion is named after João Rocha, a former club president who remained in office from September 1973 to October 1986. The inauguration took place on the day June 21, 2017. History Precedents In 1975, João Rocha, president of the club at the time, advanced with the project to create a sports complex near the Estádio José Alvalade (1956). On October 14, 1976, the Pavilion of Alvalade was born. This was, in fact, a sports complex, with 4 thousand square meters and three enclosures: the main pavilion, with capacity for 5000 spectators, and two smaller pavilions used for training. However, the work saw its life shortened dramatically due to the growth of the city of Lisbon and its transport network. Reus Deportiu is a Catalan sports club best known for its professional roller hockey team based in Reus, Catalonia, Spain. History CD Reus was founded on 23 November 1909 after the dissolution of Reus Sport Club. On 29 September 1917, the club merged with Club Velocipedista and SC Olímpia becoming the multi-sports club Reus Deportiu. In 1951, Reus Deportiu was restructured into two independent entities: CF Reus Deportiu, entirely dedicated to football, and Reus Deportiu, for the rest of the sections. Hockey Club Liceo (also known as Deportivo Liceo for sponsorship reasons) is a Spanish rink hockey club based in A Coruña, Spain. Founded in 1972, Liceo is the only team from outside Catalonia to have won the Spanish league. History Founded in 1972 at the school Liceo La Paz, the club achieved the promotion to the first division in only seven years.
