The 2018 Hong Kong Tennis Open (also known as the Prudential Hong Kong Tennis Open for sponsorship reasons) was a professional tennis tournament played on hardcourt, hard courts. It was the ninth edition of the tournament, and part of the 2018 WTA Tour. It took place in Victoria Park, Hong Kong, from October 8 to 14. WTA International Tournaments
The WTA International Tournaments was a category for professional tennis tournaments of the Women's Tennis Association from the 2009 WTA Tour until 2020, which replaced the previous Tier III and Tier IV categories. The winner of a WTA International adds 280 points to her WTA ranking. For the 2020 season, there were 32 tournaments, all knock-out tournaments with a prize money for every event at $275,000 ($775,000 for Shenzhen, and $525,000 for Guangzhou and Hong Kong). Julia Glushko (or Yulia, he, יוליה גלושקו; born 1 January 1990) is an Israeli retired tennis player. She won 11 singles and 14 doubles titles on the ITF Circuit. Caroline Dolehide ( ; born September 5, 1998) is an American professional tennis player. She achieved a career-high ranking of world No. 102 in July 2018. Bibiane Schoofs (born 13 May 1988), previously known as Bibiane Weijers, is a Dutch professional tennis player.
