Bibiane Schoofs
Bibiane Schoofs (born 13 May 1988), previously known as Bibiane Weijers, is a Dutch professional tennis player. On 11 June 2012, she reached her career-high WTA singles ranking of 142, whilst her best doubles ranking was world No. 83 on 2 April 2018. She married on 7 July 2014, and took her husband's surname, however, in late 2016, reverted to her maiden name, Schoofs. In December 2016, she became national singles champion under that name. In her career, she has won eight singles tournaments on the ITF Women's Circuit, three of them in 2011. In doubles, she has won 21 ITF titles, three of them in 2017. At age 29, she won the doubles title at the 2017 Mumbai Open, a tournament on the Challenger-level. Netherlands Fed Cup Team
The Netherlands Billie Jean King Cup team represents the Netherlands in the Billie Jean King Cup tennis competition and are governed by the Koninklijke Nederlandse Lawn Tennis Bond. They currently compete in World Group II. Current team ''Most recent year-end rankings are used.'' History The Netherlands competed in its first Fed Cup in 1963. Their best result was reaching the final in 1968, losing 3-0 to Australia, and 1997, losing 4-1 to France with Brenda Schultz-McCarthy winning her singles match against Mary Pierce. In 1998, the team was relegated to the Europe/Africa Zone Group I, where they spent nearly all their time through 2013. Çağla Büyükakçay (; born 28 September 1989) is a Turkish professional tennis player. She has won 11 singles and 15 doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit. In September 2016, she reached her highest singles ranking of world No. 60. She won her first title on the WTA Tour at her home tournament in Istanbul. On 29 February 2016, she peaked at world No. 111 in the WTA doubles rankings. Playing for Turkey at the Billie Jean King Cup, Büyükakçay has a win–loss record of 39–30. The Billie Jean King Cup (or the BJK Cup) is the premier international team competition in women's tennis, launched as the Federation Cup in 1963 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the International Tennis Federation (ITF). The name was changed to the Fed Cup in 1995, and changed again in September 2020 in honor of former World No. 1 Billie Jean King. Irina Pavlovna Khromacheva ( rus, Ирина Павловна Хромачёва; born 12 May 1995) is a professional tennis player from Russia. She has career-high WTA rankings of 89 in singles and 41 in doubles. The 2012 Australian Open was a tennis tournament that took place in Melbourne Park in Melbourne, Australia, from 16 to 29 January 2012. It was the 100th edition of the Australian Open, and the first Grand Slam event of the year. The tournament consisted of events for professional players in singles, doubles and mixed doubles play. Monica Puig Marchán, (born September 27, 1993) is a Puerto Rican former professional tennis player. She is the first Puerto Rican in history to win a gold medal at the Olympics while representing Puerto Rico, having done so in 2016 at the women's singles event. She is also a Central American and Caribbean champion and Pan American silver medalist. Having turned professional in 2010, Puig won two WTA singles titles and six ITF singles titles. Anne Keothavong
Anne Viensouk Keothavong (born 16 September 1983) is a retired British tennis player. During her career, she won a total of 28 titles on the ITF Women's Circuit, and reached a career-high singles ranking of world No. 48 (achieved on 23 February 2009). She also reached the semifinals of six WTA International tournaments, and the semifinals of one Premier tournament. Anne was British No. 1 and in 2009 became the first British player to make the WTA top 50 since 1993.
