2018 Dublin Senior Football Championship
The 2018 Dublin Senior Football Championship was the 132nd edition of Dublin GAA's premier Gaelic football tournament for senior clubs in County Dublin, Ireland. 31 teams participate (16 in Senior 1 and 15 in Senior 2), with the winner of Senior 1 representing Dublin in the Leinster Senior Club Football Championship. The draw for the group stages of the championship were made on 21 March 2018. No team was promoted from the 2017 I.F.C. due to the rule that no reserve side who wins the I.F.C. (in this case Na Fianna 'B') can be promoted to the S.F.C. St. Vincent's were the defending champions having defeated Ballymun Kickhams in the previous year's final. Ballinteer () is a small southside suburb of Dublin, located in Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown, Ireland, extensively developed from the late 1960s onwards. Naomh Ólaf CLG
Naomh Olaf is a Gaelic Athletic Association club which was founded in 1981 to provide facilities for encouraging the sporting abilities of the people of the developing parish of Balally in south County Dublin, Ireland. A club house was built and players were recruited from around the area, most of them coming from the local schools of St Olaf's, Gaelscoil Thaobh na Coille, St Benildus College, and St Tiernan's. In recent years more and more players are coming from the Leopardstown and Stepaside areas. Location The club is located on the Sandyford Industrial Estate in Dublin and recruits players from all around the Sandyford and Balally area, including Wedgewood and The Gallops all the way up to Stepaside. Fingal Ravens GAA
Fingal Ravens is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Rolestown, County Dublin, Ireland. Fingal Ravens won the 2007 Dublin Intermediate Football Championship and are therefore in the Senior championship for 2008. The Senior team won the Dublin Intermediate Football Championship in 2007 and booked a place in the Leinster Intermediate Semi Final against Suncroft. The Senior team won the Lenister Intermediate Semi Final on Sunday 25 November 2007 against Suncroft of Kildare. They eventually went on to the final against neighbours and local rivals Donaghmore/Ashbourne. It proved an interesting game because the Fingal Ravens manager Mick Deegan was a resident of Ashbourne in County Meath. Ravens won the IFC title with a goal to spare in Parnell Park on Sunday 9 December 2007. Fingallians GAA
Fingallians is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in Swords, County Dublin, Ireland. Founded in 1884, Fingallians are one of the oldest clubs in Dublin and they are based at Lawless Memorial Park. History The club caters for Gaelic football, hurling, Ladies football and camogie, at all age groups. They currently play football in the Dublin Intermediate Football Championship, having been relegated from the senior grade in 2011. They have never won the Dublin Senior Football Championship but won the Intermediate Championship in 1957. Round Towers (Irish: ''Cumann an Chloigthí, Cluain Dolcáin'' ) is a Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) associated with the Dublin County Board club based in Clondalkin, County Dublin. The club plays the Gaelic games of Gaelic football, hurling in both men's and women's codes. St Mary's is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Saggart, County Dublin, Ireland. Mary's have won the Dublin Senior Football Championship on one occasion in 1921. Since then they had been relegated to the Dublin Intermediate Football Championship and regained their senior status in 1976 and have remained a Senior club ever since. St Mary's currently play in the Dublin AFL Division 2. Five St Mary's players were on the Dublin team which won the 1942 All Ireland Final against Galway. Thomas Davis (irish language, Irish: ''CLG Tomás Dáibhís'') is a Gaelic Athletic Association club with extensive grounds and a clubhouse located on the Kiltipper Road in Tallaght, County Dublin, Republic of Ireland, Ireland. Founded in 1888, Thomas Davis has a long association with Tallaght from the time when it was a small rural village in the countryside. Castleknock Hurling and Football Club is a Dublin GAA club centered on the townlands of Carpenterstown and Diswellstown in the civil parish of Castleknock in Fingal, Ireland.
