The 2018 ABA League Playoffs is the play-off tournament that decides the winner of the 2017–18 ABA League First Division The 2017–18 ABA League First Division was the 17th season of the ABA League with 12 teams from Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Macedonia participating in it. It was the inaugural season as the fi ... season. The playoffs started on March 18, 2018 and ended on April 14, 2018. The winner of the play-offs qualifies for the 2018–19 EuroLeague. ABA League
The ABA League, renamed to the ABA League First Division in 2017, is the 1st-tier regional men's professional basketball league that originally featured clubs from the former Yugoslavia (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia). Due to sponsorship reasons, the league was also known as the Goodyear League from 2001 to 2006, the NLB League from 2006 to 2011, and as the AdmiralBet ABA League from 2021. The league coexists alongside scaled-down national leagues in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, and Slovenia. All but one of Adriatic League clubs join their country's own competitions in late spring after the Adriatic League regular season and post-season have been completed. Nemanja Gordić (; born September 25, 1988) is a Bosnians, Bosnian professional basketball player for U-BT Cluj-Napoca of the Romanian Liga Națională (men's basketball), Liga Națională. He also represents the senior Bosnia and Herzegovina national basketball team internationally. Gordić also holds Serbian citizenship. Professional career Gordić made his professional debut with KK Budućnost, Budućnost Podgorica in the 2005–06 season. Chris Johnson (born July 17, 1985) is an American professional basketball player for the Taipei Fubon Braves of the P. League+. He played college basketball for the LSU Tigers before having multiple stints in the NBA between 2011 and 2013.
