2017–18 Danish 2nd Divisions
The 2017–18 Danish 2nd Divisions will be divided in three groups of eight teams in the autumn. In spring there will be a promotion play-off and a relegation play-off. The top two teams of the promotion play-off group will be promoted to the 2018–19 Danish 1st Division. Participants Group 1 League table Group 2 League table Group 3 League table Promotion Group The top 4 teams from each group will compete for 2 spots in the 2018–19 Danish 1st Division. The points and goals that the teams won in the autumn group against other participants in the promotion group was transferred to the promotion group. Relegation Group The bottom 4 teams from each group will compete to avoid the 4 relegations spots to the Denmark Series. Jammerbugt FC
Jammerbugt Fodbold Club is a Danish association football club currently playing in the Danish 2nd Division. They play at Jetsmark Stadion in Pandrup, North Jutland, which has a capacity of 6,000. The club was former known as Jetsmark IF, which still is the name of the amateur department, and has also been known as Blokhus FC between 2008 and 2013. History The club was founded on 27 August 1973 as a merger between the two neighbouring clubs Kaas IF and Pandrup Boldklub. As Kaas had been playing in green shirts and Pandrup in white, the new first team shirt of course had to be a mix of those two colours. As their first coach they hired Preben Larsen who, for a long time, had been an influential first team player in AaB. The 2008-09 season in Danish 2nd Division will be divided in two groups. The two winners will be promoted to the 2009–10 Danish 1st Division, together with the winner of a promotion game between the two runners-up. Second squad teams are ineligible for promotion. 2016–17 Danish 1st Division
The 2016–17 Danish 1st Division season is the 21st season of the Danish 1st Division league championship, governed by the Danish Football Association. The division-champion, the runners-up and the third placed team are promoted to the 2017–18 Danish Superliga The teams in 11th and 12th places are relegated to the 2017–18 Danish 2nd Divisions. Participants Hobro IK finished the 2015–16 season of the Superliga in 12th place and was relegated to the 1st Division. Lyngby Boldklub, Silkeborg IF, and AC Horsens were promoted to the 2016–17 Danish Superliga as the Danish Superliga expands to 14 teams for the 2016–17 season. Vejlby Skovbakken Aarhus (; commonly known as VSK Aarhus) is a Danish football club based in Risskov, a neighbourhood in Aarhus. The club was founded in 2016 when the football departments of Vejlby IK Fodbold and Idrætsklubben Skovbakken decided to merge. Skovbakken is a major multi-sport club who besides football also compete in basketball, handball, badminton, tennis, and volleyball, with many honours won in these departments.
