Odder Idræts- og Gymnastikforening is a Danish association football, football club currently playing in the Denmark Series, the fifth tier of Danish football. They play at Spektrum Park in Odder, Jutland, which has a capacity of 1,000. History In the spring of 1899, a small group of people formed Odder IGF in Odder, the "largest village in Denmark". Since, the club mostly played in the lower divisions of Danish football. In 1993, club chairman Bent Villumsen laid out plans for securing the future success of Odder IGF. These plans came to fruition in 2013, when Odder IGF promoted to the Danish 2nd Division – the third tier in the Danish football system – for the first time in the club's 114 year history. The historical promotion occurred under Villumsen's successor as chairman, Peter Lindberg Christensen, who had laid out the future plans for the club together alongside Villumsen in 1993. Aarhus Gymnastikforening
Aarhus Gymnastikforening (; commonly known as AGF ), is a professional sports club based in Aarhus, Jutland, Denmark. Founded in 1880, it is one of the oldest clubs in the country and gymnastics and fencing are featured as its main sports. However, AGF is mostly known for its football department, which was established in 1902. Currently, the club's first team plays in the Danish Superliga, the top flight of the Danish football league system. AGF has won five Danish Football Championships and a record nine Danish Cups. Vejgaard BK
Vejgaard Boldspilklub is an association football club based in Vejgaard, a suburb of Aalborg, Denmark, that competes in the Denmark Series, the fifth tier of the Danish football league system. Founded in 1925, it is more simply known as 'Vejgaard BK' or 'VB'. The team plays its home matches at Soffy Road. The club hosts an annual youth cup, ''VB Efterårs Cup'', which is held the weekend before the Danish autumn holiday and is for under-13 teams and younger. The 2018–19 Danish 2nd Divisions was divided in two groups of twelve teams in the autumn of 2018. In the spring of 2019 there was a promotion play-off and a relegation play-off. The top two teams of the promotion play-off group were promoted to the 2019–20 Danish 1st Division. Casper Sloth
Casper Bisgaard Sloth (; born 26 March 1992) is a Danish professional footballer who plays for Icelandic club Stjarnan. Club career AGF Sloth started his youth career at Brabrand IF. He joined AGF academy in 2004, and progressed through the youth system. Sloth made his AGF senior debut in the Danish Superliga championship on 7 December 2009, aged 17. The Danish Cup ( da, Landspokalturneringen; often referred to as Pokalen) is the official "knockout" cup competition in Danish football, run by the Danish Football Association. The cup has been contested annually since 1955. The winner will qualify for the UEFA Europa League tournament the following year, where they (as of the 2009–10 season) will enter in the third qualifying round. Odder
Odder is a town in Jutland, Denmark. The town is the seat of Odder municipality, and is the biggest town in the municipality. It is located 20 km south of Aarhus and 16 km south-east of Skanderborg. Odder is part of Business Region Aarhus, and the East Jutland metropolitan area, and is served by the Odder Line since the line's construction in August 2018. The 2010–11 Danish Cup was the 57th season of the Danish football cup competition. For the third year, the sponsor of the competition was Ekstra Bladet, a daily newspaper, who signed a 3-year contract with the Danish Football Association (DBU) in 2008, making the official name Ekstra Bladet Cup 2010–11. Danish 2nd Division
The 2nd Division ( da, Danmarksturneringens 2. division or Herre-DM 2. division) is a semi-professional association football league for men and the third division in Denmark. It is organised by the Divisionsforeningen on behalf of the Danish Football Association (Danish FA; DBU) as part of the nation-wide Danmarksturneringen i fodbold (Herre-DM) and is positioned between the second-tier 1st Division and the fourth-tier Danish 3rd Division in the Danish football league system. Clubs in the league must meet certain criteria concerning appropriate facilities and finances. All of the 2nd Division clubs qualify for the proper rounds of the DBU Pokalen.
