The 2017 Pro Golf Tour is the 21st season of the Pro Golf Tour (formerly the EPD Tour), a third-tier tour recognised by the European Tour. Schedule The following table lists official events during the 2017 season. Order of Merit The Order of Merit was based on tournament results during the season, calculated using a points-based system. The top five players on the Order of Merit (not otherwise exempt) earned status to play on the 2018 Challenge Tour. Nicolai Von Dellingshausen
} Nicolai von Dellingshausen (born 22 January 1993) is a German professional golfer who currently plays on the Challenge Tour. Von Dellingshausen turned professional in late 2016 and played on the 2017 Pro Golf Tour. In February he lost in a four-way playoff in the Tony Jacklin Open, before winning the Tazegzout Open in March. He had further wins in the Adamstal Open and the Sierra Polish Open, as well as two more runner-up finishes. His third win earned him immediate promotion to the Challenge Tour. In his third Challenge Tour event, he was runner-up in the 2017 Bridgestone Challenge, where Oscar Lengdén took victory with a birdie-birdie-eagle finish. He won the 2017 Pro Golf Tour Order of Merit. Pedro Figueiredo
Pedro Figueiredo (born 13 June 1991) is a Portuguese professional golfer. In June 2018 won the KPMG Trophy on the Challenge Tour. Amateur career Figueiredo had a successful amateur career. At the age of 12, he represented his country at the 2003 European Boys' Team Championship for the first of seven appearances. He won the Boys Amateur Championship and Irish Amateur Open Championship in 2008. Figueiredo played college golf at the UCLA where he won three events. He turned professional in mid-2013 after competing in the 2013 Palmer Cup. Professional career Figueiredo played on the Challenge Tour from 2013 to 2016 with little success. In 2017 he played on the Pro Golf Tour. Although he did not win any tournaments, he had a consistent season with three runners-up finishes and 10 other top-10 finishes to end the season fourth in the Order of Merit and earn a place on the 2018 Challenge Tour. 2018 Challenge Tour
The 2018 Challenge Tour was a series of professional golf tournaments collectively known as the Challenge Tour. The Challenge Tour is Europe's official developmental tour and is organised by the PGA European Tour. It was introduced in 1986 and was originally called the Satellite Tour, before being renamed with its present title in 1990. Schedule The following table lists official events during the 2018 season. Challenge Tour Rankings ''For full rankings, see 2018 Challenge Tour graduates.'' The rankings were titled as the Road to Ras Al Khaimah and were based on prize money won during the season, calculated using a points-based system.
