2017 Pan American Track Cycling Championships
The 2017 Pan American Track Cycling Championships took place at the National Cycling Centre (Trinidad & Tobago), National Cycling Centre, in Couva, Trinidad & Tobago, from 30 August to 3 September 2017. The event served as a qualifier for the 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games and the United States won the event. Couva
Couva is an urban town (48,858 in 2011 census) in west-central Trinidad, south of Port of Spain and Chaguanas and north of San Fernando, Trinidad and Tobago, San Fernando and Point Fortin. It is the capital and main urban centre of Couva–Tabaquite–Talparo, and the Greater Couva area includes the Point Lisas Industrial Estate and the Port of Point Lisas. It is one of the fastest-growing towns in the country.
