The 2017 Agua da Serra Campeonato Brasileiro de Turismo (''Brazilian Touring Championship''), also known as Stock Car Brasil Light, It's the fifth season of The Campeonato Brasileiro de Turismo, a second-tier series to Stock Car Brasil. Teams and drivers *All cars were powered by V8 engines and used the JL chassis. All drivers were Brazilian-registered. Race calendar and results All races were held in Brazil. Championship standings ;Points system Points are awarded for each race at an event to the driver/s of a car that completed at least 75% of the race distance and was running at the completion of the race. *Race: Used for the first and second race, with partially reversed (top six) of each event. *Final race: Used for the last round of the season with double points. The 2017 Stock Car Brasil Championship is the thirty-ninth season of the Stock Car Brasil. The season marks the exit of Peugeot. The Velopark is a motorsport centre opened in 2008, located in the city of Nova Santa Rita, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. It was designed to have various layouts so that it could accommodate a wide variety of vehicles, such as karts, dragsters, and formula and touring cars. Autódromo José Carlos Pace
The Autódromo José Carlos Pace, better known as Interlagos, is a motorsport circuit located in the city of São Paulo, in the neighborhood of Interlagos. It was inaugurated on 12 May 1940, by the federal intervener Adhemar de Barros. The traditional name of the circuit and of the neighborhood itself comes from the fact that it is located in a region between two large artificial lakes, Guarapiranga and Billings, which were built in the beginning of the 20th century to supply the city with water and electricity. In 1985 the circuit was renamed to honor the Formula 1 driver José Carlos Pace, who died in a plane crash in 1977. Attached to its facilities there is a Kart circuit named after Ayrton Senna. Autódromo Internacional de Curitiba (also known as Autódromo de Pinhais and Circuito Raul Boesel) was a motorsports circuit located in Pinhais, Brazil. The Autódromo Internacional Zilmar Beux de Cascavel is an automobile racing complex located off Highway BR-277 in the city of Cascavel, Paraná, Brazil. The paved track is long.
