Velopark (Brazil)
The Velopark is a motorsport centre opened in 2008, located in the city of Nova Santa Rita, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. It was designed to have various layouts so that it could accommodate a wide variety of vehicles, such as karts, dragsters, and formula and touring cars. The Velopark consists of a main racecourse, a straight for dragsters, and three kart tracks including an oval, the only oval made for karts in South America. Racecourse The track is composed of eleven turns and two long straights, for a total length of . Its first official race was held in May 2010 for Stock Car Brasil. It was won by Ricardo Maurício. This track has 9 curves and 3 sectors with 2 DRS zones. Miguel Paludo (born July 26, 1983) is a Brazilian professional racing driver who competes full-time in the Porsche GT3 Carrera Cup Series. The GT4 European Series is a sports car championship created and organised by SRO Motorsports Group. It is a pro/am championship which followed a formula similar to the FIA GT3 European Championship, which was itself derived from the FIA GT Championship which utilized the GT1 and GT2 classes. Arthur Leist (8 July 1852 – 22 March 1927) was a German writer, journalist and translator of Georgian and Armenian literature. He was born and educated at Breslau. During the Russo-Turkish War (1877–1878), he got interested in the Caucasus. After his three visits to Georgia between 1884 and 1892, Leist decided to permanently settle in Tiflis.
