2013 Campeonato Sudamericano De GT Season
The 2013 Campeonato Sudamericano de GT season (Southamerican GT Championship) was the final season of Campeonato Sudamericano de GT replacing the Campeonato Brasileiro de GT. The season began on May 4 at São Paulo Street Circuit and ended on November 3 at Autódromo Oscar y Juan Gálvez. This year the series has a class for a mixed team of professional and amateur (GT3 Pro-Am), and a class for gentleman drivers (GT3 GTR). The Brazilian Auto Racing Confederation ranking system for drivers was utilized in determining what class each entry was eligible for. The GT4 category remained its own class. São Paulo Street Circuit
The São Paulo Street Circuit is a street circuit in São Paulo, Brazil which hosted the São Paulo Indy 300 from 2010 to 2013, and the São Paulo ePrix since 2023. IndyCar The street circuit race track was laid out in the Santana (district of São Paulo), Santana district. The circuit was along the Sambadrome of Anhembi and utilized portions of the Marginal Tietê service drive. The circuit hosted the São Paulo Indy 300 for four years (2010–2013). The track was long and consisted of 11 turns. Even though it was a temporary circuit, it still had a permanent seating capacity of 30,000 people as it passes through the Anhembi Sambadrome. Autódromo José Carlos Pace
The Autódromo José Carlos Pace, better known as Interlagos, is a motorsport circuit located in the city of São Paulo, in the neighborhood of Interlagos. It was inaugurated on 12 May 1940, by the federal intervener Adhemar de Barros. The traditional name of the circuit and of the neighborhood itself comes from the fact that it is located in a region between two large artificial lakes, Guarapiranga and Billings, which were built in the beginning of the 20th century to supply the city with water and electricity. In 1985 the circuit was renamed to honor the Formula 1 driver José Carlos Pace, who died in a plane crash in 1977. Attached to its facilities there is a Kart circuit named after Ayrton Senna. Autódromo Internacional de Curitiba (also known as Autódromo de Pinhais and Circuito Raul Boesel) was a motorsports circuit located in Pinhais, Brazil. It has been host to the World Touring Car Championship, TC2000, Fórmula Truck and Stock Car Brasil racing. Until 2013 the circuit has also been host of the South American Formula 3 Series, namely the Formula 3 Sudamericana. The circuit also formerly hosted the Brazilian Formula Three Championship. The circuit also hosted the "Festival Brasileiro de Arrancada", from 1992 to 2016, which was the biggest drag racing event in Latin America. Max Wilson (born August 22, 1972 in Hamburg, West Germany) is a racing driver of Brazilian parentage. Racing career Junior formulae Wilson started his motor racing career in 1985 in go-karts. He moved into single-seaters in 1993, when he was offered a ride in the Brazilian Formula Ford Championship. In 1994 he moved to the Brazilian Formula Chevrolet Championship and finished 2nd overall, behind Felipe Giaffone. Formula 3 Again, Wilson graduated up a level into Formula Three Sudamericana for the 1995 season. Again he finished 2nd in the championship, this time behind Ricardo Zonta. The BMW M3 is a high-performance version of the BMW 3 Series, developed by BMW's in-house motorsport division, BMW M GmbH. M3 models have been produced for every generation of 3 Series since the E30 M3 was introduced in 1986. The initial model was available in a coupé body style, with a convertible body style added soon after. M3 Sedans were available during the E36 (1994–1999) and E90 (2008–2012) generations. The Ferrari Challenge is a single-marque motorsport championship that was created in 1993 for owners of the 348 Berlinetta who wanted to become involved in racing. The series was proposed by Ferrari Club Nederland founder and President Hans Hugenholtz to Carlo Tazzioli and Michele Sofisti who were in charge of Ferrari Deutschland.
