2017 BC Lions Season
The 2017 BC Lions season was the 60th season for the team in the Canadian Football League (CFL) and their 64th overall. The Lions finished the season in fifth place in the West Division with a 7–11 record and missed the playoffs for the first time since 1996, ending their playoff streak at 20 seasons, the second longest in CFL history. This was the 11th year with Wally Buono as the team's head coach and his 15th year as general manager. This was the eighth consecutive season that the Lions held their training camp at Hillside Stadium in Kamloops, British Columbia. Canadian Football League West Division
The West Division is one of the two regional divisions of the Canadian Football League (CFL), its counterpart being the East Division (CFL), East Division. Although the CFL was not founded until 1958, the West Division and its clubs are descended from earlier leagues. The Baltimore Ravens are a professional American football team based in Baltimore, Maryland. Bo Lokombo
Boseko Lokombo (born October 15, 1990) is a Congolese- Canadian professional Canadian football linebacker for the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football at Oregon. Lokombo has also been a member of the Baltimore Ravens, Oakland Raiders, San Francisco 49ers, Montreal Alouettes, and Toronto Argonauts. Early years Lokombo was born in Kinshasa, Zaire, but moved to Montreal, Quebec in 1996. Lokombo was raised in Abbotsford, British Columbia, where he attended W. J. Mouat Secondary School. As a senior, he recorded 47 tackles with four interceptions and also played wide receiver and running back. Richie Leone (born March 10, 1992) is a gridiron football punter for the Ottawa Redblacks of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played collegiate football for the University of Houston. He has also been a member of the Baltimore Ravens, Pittsburgh Steelers, BC Lions, and Arizona Cardinals. Early career Leone played high school football at Roswell High School at the quarterback, punter, and kicker positions. While in high school, he averaged 44.1 yards per kick. Nehemie Kankolongo (born April 4, 1992) is a Canadian former professional football linebacker who played in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football with the Wyoming Cowboys. Professional career Kankolongo was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Saskatchewan Roughriders on May 27, 2015. Marco Iannuzzi (born May 21, 1987) is a retired Canadian football wide receiver for the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Anthony Gaitor (born October 9, 1988) is a former American football cornerback. He was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the seventh round of the 2011 NFL Draft.
