Jeremiah Alex Johnson (born February 15, 1987) is a former American gridiron football running back. He was signed by the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent in 2009. He played college football at Oregon. Johnson has been a member of the Washington Redskins, Carolina Panthers, Denver Broncos, Toronto Argonauts, Ottawa Redblacks, BC Lions, and Montreal Alouettes. A running back (RB) is a member of the offensive backfield in gridiron football. The primary roles of a running back are to receive handoffs from the quarterback to rush the ball, to line up as a receiver to catch the ball, and block. A touchdown (abbreviated as TD) is a scoring play in gridiron football. Whether running, passing, returning a kickoff or punt, or recovering a turnover, a team scores a touchdown by advancing the ball into the opponent's end zone. The 2008 Pacific Life Holiday Bowl was a college football bowl game played on December 30, 2008, at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, California between the Oklahoma State Cowboys and the Oregon Ducks, and was part of the 2008 NCAA Division I FBS football season and one of the games in the 2008-2009 bowl season to be nationally televised by ESPN. 2008 Oregon Ducks Football Team
The 2008 Oregon Ducks football team represented the University of Oregon in the 2008 NCAA Division I FBS football season. This was the final season for Mike Bellotti as the Ducks' head coach; he was promoted to become the school's athletic director after the season. The Ducks played their home games at Autzen Stadium. They finished the season 10–3, 7–2 in Pac-10 play, and were invited to the Holiday Bowl where they defeated Oklahoma State 42–31. Jonathan Stewart
Jonathan Creon Stewart (born March 21, 1987) is a former American football running back. He played college football at the University of Oregon and was selected by the Carolina Panthers in the first round (13th overall) of the 2008 NFL Draft. He played 10 seasons with Carolina, making the 2016 Pro Bowl, before spending one season with the New York Giants. Following the 2018 season, Stewart signed a one-day contract with Carolina and retired as a Panther. High school career Stewart is the career leading rusher in Washington prep football history.
