2016–17 Dartmouth Big Green Women's Basketball Team
The 2016–17 Dartmouth Big Green women's basketball team represented Dartmouth College during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Big Green, led by fourth year head coach Belle Koclanes, played their home games at Leede Arena and were members of the Ivy League. They finished the season 8–19, 3–11 in Ivy League play to finish in a tie for seventh place. Ivy League changes This season, the Ivy League will institute conference postseason tournaments. The tournaments will only award the Ivy League automatic bids for the NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments; the official conference championships will continue to be awarded based solely on regular-season results. The Ivy League playoff will take place March 11 and 12 at the Palestra in Philadelphia. Clemmons is a village in Forsyth County, North Carolina, United States and a suburb of Winston-Salem. The population was 21,177 at the 2020 census, with an estimated population of 21,517 in 2021. Geography Clemmons is located in southwestern Forsyth County at (36.025232, -80.386413). Woodland Christian High School (WCHS) is a secondary school located in Breslau, Ontario, Canada. Founded in 1976 by a group of churches in the Cambridge area, Woodland provides Christian-based education. Conestogo is a community in the Canadian province of Ontario, located in the township of Woolwich in Waterloo Region. The population in 2016 was 1,270. The community is located at the junction of the Grand and Conestogo Rivers. Conestogo is a terminus of the Avon Trail. History The vicinity of present day Conestogo was first settled in 1820s, on the Grand and Conestogo Rivers. The first settlers were predominantly Mennonites who had emigrated from Pennsylvania, settling on land laid out by David Musselman and Charles Hendry. Liberty High School is a high school in Henderson in the U.S. state of Nevada. It is part of the Clark County School District. Before the school opened, prospective students chose the name "Liberty" and the school mascot "The Patriot" through a survey mailed to their homes. Waterloo West High School is one of three public high schools under the auspices of the Waterloo Community School District in Waterloo, Iowa. The school is located at the intersection of E. Ridgeway Ave. and Baltimore Ave. Mascot The school mascot is Westy the Wahawk. The name "Wahawk" is a portmanteau of the city name ( Waterloo) and the county name ( Black Hawk). Much controversy has surrounded the mascot, which was once an Indian chief thought to be politically incorrect.
