Justine Braisaz-Bouchet (born 4 July 1996) is a French biathlete, Olympic champion in the 12.5 km mass start at the 2022 Beijing Games and medalist at the Winter Olympics 2018 and World Championships. Biography Justine Braisaz began her biathlon career at the Saisies Sports Club. She quickly moved to the Nordic section to practice cross-country skiing and biathlon. During the 2011/2012 season, in the Cadette U16 category, she won the French Championship of cross-country skiing and the French Championship of Biathlon, thanks to her speed on skis. She moved to Biathlon fully in the following year representing the Junior category (U19). Kaisa Leena Mäkäräinen (born 11 January 1983) is a Finnish former world-champion and 3-time world-cup-winning biathlete, who currently competes for Kontiolahden Urheilijat. Outside sports, Mäkäräinen is currently studying to be a Physics teacher at the University of Eastern Finland in Joensuu. Her team coach is Jonne Kähkönen, while Jarmo Punkkinen is her ski coach. Career Mäkäräinen was originally a cross-country skier and focused on this until the age of twenty. She started training for the biathlon in 2003. Anaïs Bescond (born 15 May 1987) is a retired French biathlete, olympic champion and world champion. She is also a non-commissioned officer. Career Bescond was born in Aunay-sur-Odon. She moved to Morbier, in the Jura region, with her family and began skiing. She competed at the Biathlon World Championships 2011, and won a silver medal in the relay with the French team, a result repeated at the Biathlon World Championships 2012. Mari Eder (née Laukkanen; born 9 November 1987) is a Finnish former biathlete and cross-country skier. Career Eder competed in the 2010 Winter Olympics for Finland. Her best performance was 43rd in the individual. She also finished 68th in the sprint. Holmenkollen () is a mountain and a neighbourhood in the Vestre Aker borough of Oslo, Norway. It goes up to above sea level and is well-known for its international skiing competitions. Overview In addition to being a residential area, the area has been a ski recreation area since the late 19th century, with its famous ski jumping hill, the Holmenkollbakken, hosting competitions since 1892. Simon Eder (born 23 February 1983) is an Austrian biathlete. Career His first World Cup win was in the Khanty-Mansiysk mass-start race on 29 March 2009. Eder represented Austria at the 2010 Winter Olympics and in 2014 Winter Olympics. He won 2 medals: silver in the Men's relay in 2010, and a bronze in Men's relay in 2014. Both of the relays together with Daniel Mesotitsch, Dominik Landertinger and Christoph Sumann.
