The 2016 Treviso Open was a Nine-ball pool event, and part of the Euro Tour. The event was held between 24–26 November 2016 in the ''BHR Treviso Hotel'' in Treviso, Italy. The winner was David Alcaide. The Spaniard secured his second Euro Tour victory by a 9–6 final win against the German Joshua Filler. Nick Van Den Berg
Nick van den Berg (born 24 May 1980) is a Dutch professional pool player. He was the runner up at the 2005 WPA World Eight-ball Championship, where he lost to Wu Chia-ching 11–5 in the final. He is a multiple time winner of events on the Euro Tour, winning 10 tournaments between 2002 and 2017, the fourth highest in the history of the tour. A six-time winner of the European Pool Championships, Van den Berg has represented Europe at the Mosconi Cup on eight occasions, winning the event on six occasions as well as tying the event in 2006. Konrad Juszczyszyn (born 28 November 1993) is a Polish professional pool player. Juszczyszyn won the 9-Ball event at the 2018 European Pool Championship. Ralf Souquet ( ; born 29 November 1968) is a German professional pool player. His nickname is "The Kaiser". Since 1988, he has won more than 200 tournament titles, including 23 Euro Tour titles, 20 European Pool Championship and 12 German Pool Championship. Francisco Sánchez Ruíz (born December 29, 1991 in Murcia, Spain) is a Spanish professional pool player and the reigning World champion in both eight-ball and nine-ball.
