Nick Van Den Berg
Nick van den Berg (born 24 May 1980) is a Dutch professional pool player. He was the runner up at the 2005 WPA World Eight-ball Championship, where he lost to Wu Chia-ching 11–5 in the final. He is a multiple time winner of events on the Euro Tour, winning 10 tournaments between 2002 and 2017, the fourth highest in the history of the tour. A six-time winner of the European Pool Championships, Van den Berg has represented Europe at the Mosconi Cup on eight occasions, winning the event on six occasions as well as tying the event in 2006. Career Van den Berg's best performance in a world championship was in 2005, where he reached the final of the WPA World Eight-ball Championship. At the event, he defeated Christian Reimering 10–4, Naif Aljaweni 10–4 and Francisco Bustamante 10–8 on route to a final against Wu Chia-ching. Mark Gray (born 16 August 1973) is an English professional Pool (cue sports), pool player and former professional snooker player. Snooker career Born in 1973, Gray turned professional in 1992. He made little progress in any tournament until the 1997/1998 season, when he reached the last 64 at the German Open - losing 1–5 to Karl Broughton - the last 48 at the Thailand Masters, where Chris Small whitewashed him 5–0, and later made his first appearance in the last 32 at a ranking event, in the 1998 British Open. There, he defeated Jimmy Michie 5–3 and Jimmy White 5–4, but lost 3–5 to Dominic Dale. The following season saw Gray repeat his feat at the British Open, beating Bjorn Haneveer 5–2, Paul Wykes 5–4 and Jamie Burnett 5–3, having trailed Burnett 1–3. Karl Boyes (born 4 November 1982) is an English professional pool player. He won the 2010 world 8-ball championships. In the final, Boyes had the much better start and led Niels Feijen 4-0 and 11–5, before his opponent started a catch-up and levelled at 12-12. Boyes won the final rack, winning 13–12. Boyes has been a part of four Mosconi Cup teams, competing for Europe in 2010, 2013, 2014 and 2015. In all of these seasons, Europe would defeat the USA. Personal life Boyes was born in Bradford, West Yorkshire. He began playing pool, mainly English 8-ball, as a teenager in pubs in Manchester. Dennis Orcollo
Dennis Orcollo (born January 28, 1979), is a Filipino professional pool player, nicknamed " RoboCop" and has been called "The Money-Game King" throughout the Philippines and the United States. Early life Orcollo is the second of four brothers. His father was killed in a boating accident caused by a windstorm when he was young. He started practicing pool at 8 years of age through his grandfather's table. Because of financial problems, he gave up school at third grade, and focused on his sport. Career Orcollo began competing outside the Philippines in 2002. That year, he competed in the WPA World Nine-ball Championship where he finished 17th place.
