2016 PSL Invitational Cup
The 2016 PLDT Home Ultera PSL Invitational Cup was the first indoor volleyball tournament for the Philippine Super Liga's fourth season. It ran from February 18 to April 9, 2016, coinciding with the UAAP Season 78 volleyball tournaments. A guest team from Thailand, playing under the name Est Cola, joined the final round, clashing against top three teams of the preliminary round for the championship. LVPI Director Jeff Tamayo was the guest speaker of the opening ceremonies, while LVPI President Joey Romasanta and Sports5 head Patricia Bermudez-Hizon attended the awarding ceremonies. RC Cola Raiders
The RC Cola-Army Troopers were a professional women's volleyball team in the Philippine Super Liga (PSL). It debuted as the RC Cola Raiders in the 2013 Grand Prix Conference of the PSL. The team is owned by ARC Refreshments Corporation, the Philippine licensee of Royal Crown Cola International. From 2014 to 2015, it partnered with the official women's volleyball team of the Philippine Air Force and played as the RC Cola-Air Force Raiders. For the 2016 season, it partnered with the Philippine Army Lady Troopers and played as the RC Cola-Army Troopers. Aiza Maizo-Pontillas (born February 29, 1988) is a Filipina professional volleyball player. She was a former member and team captain of the UST Golden Tigresses, and a member of the Philippines women's national volleyball team. She led the España-based squad to its 16th and, as of 2018, latest championship in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) league. She was a Shakey's V-League (SVL) three-time Finals and two-time Season Most Valuable Player. The Petron Blaze Spikers were a professional women's volleyball team that played in the Philippine Super Liga (PSL) from 2013 to 2020. After the cancellation of the 2020 season of the PSL due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the team took a leave of absence from the league and released all its players. The team was owned by Petron Corporation. The company's involvement in volleyball began in 2002 when it established the Petron Ladies Beach Volleyball Tournament. The New San Jose Builders Victorias were a professional women's volleyball club in the Philippine Super Liga, Philippine Superliga (PSL). It was owned by New San Jose Builders, Inc., a real estate firm, and participated in the 2016 PSL Invitational Cup. The team was composed of players from the Perpetual Help Altas women's volleyball team with two guest players from DLSU-D Patriots and the EAC Generals. The Chery Tiggo Crossovers is a professional women's volleyball team in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL). The team is owned by United Asia Automotive Group, Inc. (UAAGI).
