The 2015 World's Strongest Man was the 38th edition of the World's Strongest Man competition. It took place in Putrajaya, Malaysia from April 19 to 26. Putrajaya (), officially the Federal Territory of Putrajaya ( ms, Wilayah Persekutuan Putrajaya), is a planned capital city which functions as the administrative capital and the judicial capital of Malaysia. Graham Hicks
Graham Hicks (born 15 November 1985 in Morecambe, Lancashire) is an English strongman and powerlifter. He won the 2019 Britain's Strongest Man competition and placed second in 2014 and 2018. He is also a two time Europe's Strongest Man bronze medalist. Personal life Graham Hicks was born in 1985 in Morecambe, Lancashire. He was a keen sportsman in his childhood and teens although his main interest was football. He started training in the gym as a bodybuilder and at the age of 25, a friend asked him to try strongman training with him. He caught the strength bug, altered his training to accommodate this, and has since been exceedingly successful. Biography Early life Matjaž Belšak was born in a village Seničica, near Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia on September 23 of 1992. Edward Stephen Hall (born 15 January 1988) is an English media personality, actor, boxer, and former strongman. He won the World's Strongest Man 2017 competition. Hall has also won national competitions such as UK's Strongest Man, Britain's Strongest Man, and England's Strongest Man multiple times. Early life Edward Stephen Hall was born in Newcastle-under-Lyme on 15 January 1988. As a teenager, he was a successful competitive swimmer. Mike Burke (born June 14, 1974) is an American professional strongman competitor from Aurora, Colorado. Mike won the 2012 All-American Strongman Challenge in January 2012. This victory qualified him for the 2012 Arnold Strongman Classic and he finished in 5th place. Burke placed third at the Giants Live event in Melbourne, Australia on March 17, 2012. This placing qualified Burke for the 2012 World's Strongest Man contest, however, he failed to make the finals. Just one day after the 2012 World's Strongest Man contest, Burke competed in the 2012 America's Strongest Man contest and took first place. Krzysztof Radzikowski (born August 18, 1981) is a professional strongman competitor from Głowno, Poland. He has competed in 112 International strongman competitions (2nd highest in history) and have won 23 of them, making him the fifth most decorated strongman in history behind Žydrūnas Savickas, Mariusz Pudzianowski, Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson and Brian Shaw. Nick Best (born November 3, 1968) is an American professional strongman competitor and world champion powerlifter. Powerlifting Prior to competing in strongman, Best won the USAPL National Powerlifting Championships in the 125 kg class in 1996 and 1997, as well as the WDFPF World Powerlifting Championships in 1996. Strongman Best holds the International Federation of Strength Athletes world record for the 125 kg, 75 m Farmer's Walk, with a time of 47.3 seconds.
