2015 Torneo Federal A
The 2015, was the 2º Torneo Federal A season since it became part of the third tier of the Argentine football league system. The tournament is reserved for teams indirectly affiliated to the Asociación del Fútbol Argentino (AFA), while teams affiliated to AFA have to play the Primera B Metropolitana, which is the other third tier competition. The champion will be promoted to Primera B Nacional. 40 teams competed. The regular season began on March 20 and ended on December 10. Format First stage The teams were divided into four zones with ten teams (a total of 40 teams) in each zone and it was played in a round-robin tournament. The teams placed 1º to 3º and the two best 4º team from the four zones qualified for the Second Stage. Second Stage Tetradecagonal Final Consisted of fourteen (14) teams that qualified from the First Stage and the winner was declared champion and automatically promoted to the Primera B Nacional. Torneo Federal A
The Torneo Federal A (in English "Federal A Tournament") is one of the two professional leagues that form the regionalised third level of the Argentine football league system, along with Primera B Metropolitana. The competition was established in 2014 as a result of a change in the structure of the league system, replacing Torneo Argentino A. Federal A is organised by "Consejo Federal", a division of the Argentine Football Association. Clubs in Federal A have indirect membership in AFA unlike clubs in Primera B, which have direct membership. All teams with indirect membership are from outside the city of Buenos Aires (playing in regional leagues) and its metropolitan area (Greater Buenos Aires), while most of the direct members are from the aforementioned area. The Argentine football league system include tournaments organised by the Argentine Football Association. Club Cipolletti
Club Cipolletti is an Argentine sports club, located in the homonymous district of Río Negro Province. The football team currently plays in Torneo Federal A, the regionalised third division of Argentine football league system. Cipoletti was relegated from Torneo Argentino A at the end of the 2005–06 season, due to the poor performance in the Clausura and its inability to beat General Paz Juniors in the relegation playoff. At the end of the 2006–07 Cipolletti was one of the three champions of Torneo Argentino B allowing the team to return to Torneo Argentino A. Club Atlético Alvarado
Club Atlético Alvarado is an Argentine football club from the city of Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires Province. The team currently plays in the Primera B Nacional, the 2nd division of the Argentine football league system. The club has played at the highest level of Argentine football on only one occasion, more specifically in the 1978 Campeonato Nacional, which coincided with the 50th anniversary of its foundation. Alvarado participated in Group D of that tournament, finishing 7th of 8 teams. The team's most notable results that year were two 1-1 draws with Quilmes, the 1978 Metropolitano champion, a 4-4 draw with Atlanta and a great 5-0 victory over San Lorenzo. Torneo Federal B was one of two leagues that form the fourth level of the Argentine football league system, made up of 100+ teams playing within eight regional zones across Argentina. The other league at level four wasand still isthe Primera C Metropolitana, which is a competition for the numerous clubs in the city of Buenos Aires and the Greater Buenos Aires metropolitan area.
