Club Atlético Alvarado
Club Atlético Alvarado is an Argentine football club from the city of Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires Province. The team currently plays in the Primera B Nacional, the 2nd division of the Argentine football league system. The club has played at the highest level of Argentine football on only one occasion, more specifically in the 1978 Campeonato Nacional, which coincided with the 50th anniversary of its foundation. Alvarado participated in Group D of that tournament, finishing 7th of 8 teams. The team's most notable results that year were two 1-1 draws with Quilmes, the 1978 Metropolitano champion, a 4-4 draw with Atlanta and a great 5-0 victory over San Lorenzo. In May 1992 Alvarado reached the Torneo Argentino A finals, only to lose the chance of promotion to the Primera B Nacional to Arsenal de Sarandí. Estadio José María Minella
The Estadio José María Minella is a stadium in the city of Mar del Plata, Argentina. It is owned and administrated by the Municipality of General Pueyrredón Partido, General Pueyrredón. Inaugurated for the 1978 FIFA World Cup hosted by Argentina, the stadium is currently used by local clubs Club Atlético Alvarado, Alvarado and Aldosivi to play their home matches. Leandro Vella
Leandro Vella (born 9 November 1996) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a winger for Alvarado. Club career Vella started his career with Escuela Pablo Kratina, which preceded a move to Huracán de Córdoba in 2008. In 2011, Instituto signed Vella. Julián Vitale
Julián Vitale (born 21 July 1995) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Alvarado. Career 2015 saw Vitale start his professional as he was promoted into the first-team from the reserves. His debut for the club came on 31 May in a 1–0 win over Tigre at the Estadio Libertadores de América. On 27 August, Vitale made his continental debut in the 2015 Copa Sudamericana second stage first leg against fellow Argentine side Arsenal de Sarandí, a match that he also scored his first career goal in. Matías Ezequiel Rodríguez (born 29 March 1993) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Alvarado. Career Rodríguez began with Chacarita Juniors, with whom he made his debut with in February 2013 against Godoy Cruz in the Copa Argentina. He also made four league appearances in 2012–13, prior to twenty-three in 2013–14 as well as scoring his first two career goals versus Flandria and Nueva Chicago respectively. Sergio Fabián Sánchez (born 17 August 2001) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Alvarado. Career Sánchez began his youth career with Banfield at the age of six, before having stints with the academies of River Plate and Boca Juniors. A move to Aldosivi then followed, before his arrival at Racing Club in 2016. Brian Luis Mieres (born 28 July 1995) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Alvarado. Career Mieres played for various youth clubs, having spells with Pumitas, Pamperito, AFIL and Panificaciones before joining San Lorenzo in 2008. Nahuel Raúl Menéndez (born 5 March 1994) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Alvarado. Career Menéndez spent time in the system of Chacarita Juniors, prior to departing in 2012 to join Sevilla of La Liga. Firstly with the youth team, then with reserve team Sevilla B. Juan Francisco Mattia (born 24 June 1988) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Primera Nacional side Alvarado. Career Mattia started off his career in Primera B Metropolitana with Flandria in 2006.
