Louis Schwartz (skier)
Louis Schwartz (April 15, 1888 – July 18, 1966) was a Republican politician from Philadelphia who served in the Pennsylvania state legislature and the Philadelphia City Council. Schwartz was born in 1888 in Galați, Romania. He emigrated with his parents and siblings to the United States in 1900, settling in Philadelphia. His father was a shoemaker, and Schwartz followed him into that business before taking classes to earn his real estate license. He started his own real estate business, which quickly became successful. He married Jennie Stern in 1911, with whom he had two children. Schwartz and his family were members of Kneses Israel Anshe S'fard synagogue in Philadelphia. In the 1920s, Republican ward leader David H. Lane mentored Schwartz in the world of the Philadelphia Republican Party, which was dominant in city politics at that time. Lotta Udnes Weng (born 29 September 1996) is a Norwegian cross-country skier. Career At the 2014, 2015 and 2016 Junior World Championships she won four silver medals (one in relay), one bronze and one gold medal (both in relay). As an U23 junior she competed at the 2017 and 2018 Junior World Championships, bagging a gold medal from the 2017 skiathlon. She made her World Cup debut in March 2015 in Drammen, and collected her first World Cup points in December 2016 in Lillehammer with a 22nd place in the 5 kilometres race. She broke the top 20 for the first time in the 2016–2017 Tour de Ski Oberstdorf skiathlon, and in December–January 2018–19 she broke the top 10 four times. Ebba Kristina Andersson (born 10 July 1997) is a Swedish cross-country skier who represents the club Piteå Elit. Andersson competed at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2017 in Lahti, Finland. In the 2018 Olympics Andersson finished fourth in the skiathlon, 0.8 seconds behind bronze medalist Krista Pärmäkoski. Running Andersson has also competed in running at international junior level. Natalya Mikhaylovna Nepryayeva (russian: Наталья Михайловна Непряева; born 6 September 1995) is a Russian cross-country skier. She participated in the 2018 Winter Olympics as part of the Olympic Athletes from Russia team and 2022 Winter Olympics as part of the Russian Olympic Committee team, winning a total of four medals, including a gold in the 4 × 5 km relay.
