2015 FIA WTCC Race Of Hungary
The 2015 FIA WTCC Race of Hungary (formally the 2015 MOL Group Race of Hungary) was the third round of the 2015 World Touring Car Championship season and the fifth running of the FIA WTCC Race of Hungary. It was held on 3 May 2015 at the Hungaroring in Mogyoród near Budapest, Hungary. Race one was won by José María López for Citroën Total WTCC and race two was won by Norbert Michelisz for Zengő Motorsport. Background After the second round López led the drivers' championship by 17 points over teammate Sébastien Loeb. Mehdi Bennani led the Yokohama Trophy standings by one point over Norbert Michelisz. Proteam Racing were absent from the grid following the departure of Dušan Borković from the team after the previous round in Morocco. With Rickard Rydell still recovering from thyroiditis, Nika International did not enter their car for the Hungarian round after deciding not to enter a substitute driver. Mogyoród
Mogyoród is a small traditional village in Pest County, Hungary. The Battle of Mogyoród took place here on 14 March 1074, between Solomon, King of Hungary and his cousins Géza and Ladislaus, who were claiming rights to the throne. To commemorate the victory, László Benchmarks were installed, establishing a monastery on Klastrom mountain. Among the sights of the village is the Roman Catholic church, built between 1745 and 1749, the statue of St John of Nepomuk, carved from stone, and the Baroque parish built by the Bishop of Vác. The ninth-generation Honda Civic is a range of compact cars (C-segment) manufactured by Honda between 2011 and 2017, replacing the eighth-generation Civic. The FIA World Touring Car Championship was an international touring car championship promoted by Eurosport Events and sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). It has had several different incarnations, including a single season in 1987 as the World Touring Car Championship and most recently a world championship (WTCC) that has run between 2005 and 2017. NIKA racing (short for Nicklas Karlsson Racing) is a Swedish racing team, founded by former racing driver Nicklas Karlsson along with Eric Lindgren which currently competes in the World Touring Car Championship. Before that they competed in the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship where they won the teams' championship title in 2011. Thyroiditis is the inflammation of the thyroid gland. The thyroid gland is located on the front of the neck below the laryngeal prominence, and makes hormones that control metabolism. Signs and symptoms There are many different signs and symptoms for thyroiditis, none of which are exclusively limited to this disease. Rickard Rydell (born 22 September 1967) is a retired Swedish racing driver. He won the 1998 British Touring Car Championship, the 2011 Scandinavian Touring Car Championship, and has also been a frontrunner in the European/World Touring Car Championship. Early career Rydell was born in Vallentuna, Stockholm. Initially he trained to be an accountant at AB Rydell, his family's flower boutique business, but was bitten by the racing bug. Proteam Motorsport is an Italian auto racing team based in Arezzo that was set up by former driver Valmiro Presenzini in 1997. They are best known for their efforts in the FIA World Touring Car Championship.
