Elitettan ( en, The Elite First) is the second highest division of Swedish women's football. Contested by 14 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation In sports leagues, promotion and relegation is a process where teams are transferred between multiple divisions based on their performance for the completed season. Upplands Väsby () is a Urban areas in Sweden, locality and the seat of Upplands Väsby Municipality, Stockholm County, Sweden with 149,463 inhabitants in 2020. History The municipality has a long history with clear traces of settlements from the pre-Christian times in several places. Studenternas IP is a multi-use stadium in Uppsala, Sweden and the home arena for the football clubs IK Sirius Fotboll on the men's side and IK Uppsala Fotboll on the women's and in bandy for IK Sirius in Elitserien Elitserien (literally, "the Elite League") is the name of several Swedish nationwide sport leagues. Kalmar (, , ) is a city in the southeast of Sweden, situated by the Baltic Sea. It had 36,392 inhabitants in 2010 and is the seat of Kalmar Municipality. IF Limhamn Bunkeflo 07, commonly known as LB07, is a football club based in Malmö, Sweden. It is the biggest football club from the Scania region. The club is affiliated with Skånes Fotbollförbund and play their home games at Limhamns IP. The club colours, reflected in their crest and kit, are red and white. The club promoted to the second level of Swedish women's football in 2011 (which later became known as the Elitettan). They did this by winning against IF Norvalla (5–0) and losing to Mallbackens IF with a small goal difference (2–3) in the final promotion group. For five years after the promotion LB07 continued playing in the Elitettan. In 2016, they won the league championship and gained promotion to the top level Damallsvenskan.
