PFC Cherno More Varna
Cherno More ( bg, Черно Море) is a Bulgarian professional association football club based in the city of Varna, which currently competes in Bulgaria's primary football competition, the First League. Founded on March 3, 1913, as an association football branch of the larger sports society SC Galata, the club has spent the majority of its existence playing in the top tier of Bulgarian football. Cherno More is named after the Black Sea, and the football club is also known by its nickname The Sailors. Cherno More's home ground is the Stadion Ticha, which has a seating capacity of 8,250 spectators, with plans to move to a new all-seater stadium by 2020, although due to financial issues, the construction has been put on hold. Cherno More previously hosted their games at the Yuri Gagarin Stadium, sharing it with fellow Varna club, Spartak. Zhivko Petkov
Zhivko Stoyanov Petkov ( bg, Живко Стоянов Петков; born 15 February 1993) is a Bulgarian footballer who plays as a forward for Chernomorets 1919. Career On 27 June 2012, Petkov joined Neftochimic Burgas. At Neftochimic, he became a member of the first team and his goals helped the "Sheiks" gain promotion to the A PFG during 2012–13 season. He made 23 appearances, finishing as the club's top scorer with 14 goals. Petkov made his A PFG debut on 21 July 2013, when he came on as a half-time substitute in a 4–1 away loss against Litex Lovech. Petkov joined Cherno More in the summer of 2014. He scored his first goal for the team from Varna on 13 September 2014, netting a late equalizer in a league match against CSKA Sofia. On 6 July 2017, Petkov signed with Pomorie. Marcin Burkhardt (; born 25 September 1983) is a Polish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Weszło Warsaw. From 2021 to 2022 he served as a sporting director of Pogoń Siedlce. Career Club Burkhardt made his debut in the Polish league on September 16, 2001 in Amica Wronki against Dyskobolia Grodzisk and has scored seven goals as of this campaign. Ilko Emilov Pirgov ( bg, Илко Емилов Пиргов; born 23 May 1986) is a Bulgarian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Lokomotiv Plovdiv. He is the older brother of Dimitar Pirgov. Career Pirgov is an ex-Pirin Blagoevgrad player, where he played from 2002. He moved to CSKA Sofia in 2005. As a player of PFC CSKA Sofia he is a Bulgarian Cup winner in 2006. Miroslav Manolov ( bg, Мирослав Манолов; born 20 May 1985 in Sopot) is a former Bulgarian footballer who played as a forward. He retired in early 2016 at age of 30. Sténio Nivaldo Matos dos Santos (born 6 May 1988), commonly known as Sténio, is a Cape Verde international footballer who plays as a midfielder for Sacavenense.
