Miedź Legnica
Miedź Legnica is a Polish professional football club, based in Legnica, Poland, that competes in the Polish Ekstraklasa. Miedź was founded in 1971. The club's manager is Wojciech Łobodziński. In 2018, Miedź Legnica achieved promotion to the top flight for the first time in club's history. After a three-year absence from the top flight, they were promoted again at the end of the 2021–22 season after winning the league. Legnica
Legnica (Polish: ; german: Liegnitz, szl, Lignica, cz, Lehnice, la, Lignitium) is a city in southwestern Poland, in the central part of Lower Silesia, on the Kaczawa River (left tributary of the Oder) and the Czarna Woda (Kaczawa), Czarna Woda. Between 1 June 1975 and 31 December 1998 Legnica was the capital of the Legnica Voivodeship. It is currently the seat of the county and since 1992 the city has been the seat of a Diocese of Legnica, Diocese. As of 2021, Legnica had a population of 97,300 inhabitants. Koldo Obieta Alberdi (born 8 October 1993) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a forward for AD Alcorcón. Club career Born in Guernica, Biscay, Basque Country, Obieta finished his formation with hometown side Gernika Club.
