2014 GP3 Series Season
The 2014 GP3 Series was the fifth season of the third-tier of Formula One feeder championship and also fifth season under the moniker of GP3 Series, a motorsport, motor racing feeder series for Formula One and sister series GP2 Series, GP2. The series continued to use Pirelli tyres. The title was claimed by Red Bull Junior Team, Red Bull Junior driver Alex Lynn, despite the fact he had fewer wins than Dean Stoneman; Lynn surpassed him by 44 points. This was also the only season in the GP3 Series in which a team other than ART Grand Prix secured the constructors' title, with Carlin Motorsport, Carlin winning the constructors' championship by 17 points over ART. 2014 GP2 Series Season
The 2014 GP2 Series season , was the forty-eighth season of the second-tier of Formula One feeder championship and also tenth season under the GP2 Series moniker, a support series to the 2014 Formula One World Championship. Russian Time were the defending team champions. In his fourth season in the series, DAMS driver Jolyon Palmer won the championship title after a consistent season, with points-scoring finishes in 20 of the campaign's 22 races. He won four races – joint-most for the season, along with Stoffel Vandoorne and Felipe Nasr – and achieved twelve podium finishes, en route to the title, which he won in Russia. The battle for the runner-up position in the championship standings was not decided until the final race of the season, between Vandoorne and Nasr. Jann Mardenborough
Jann Mardenborough (born 9 September 1991) is a British professional racing driver competing in the Japanese Super GT series. In 2011 he became the third (and youngest) winner of the GT Academy competition, beating 90,000 entrants. He was rewarded with a drive for Nissan at the Dubai 24 Hour race. Subsequently, he competed in the F3 European Championship and the GP3 Series, winning a race in Hockenheim. He also competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, finishing third in the LMP2 class on his debut in 2013. He competed for Nissan Motorsports in the 2015 FIA World Endurance Championship, but the team withdrew from the series after one race due to a very uncompetitive car. Ryan Cullen (born 26 March 1991) is an Irish racing driver currently competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship for Vector Sport. Career Cullen first drove in the British Formula Ford in 2012 as a novice driver which means a driver has no race experience as stated in the MSA regulations, placing sixth overall in the standings and obtaining three podium positions, impressing a number of people on his first season of racing. Carmen Jordá Buades (born 28 May 1988) is a Spanish motor racing driver. From 2015 to 2017, she was a development driver for the Lotus and Renault Sport Formula One teams.
