Campeonato Acreano (sometimes referred as Campeonato Acriano) is the football league of the State of Acre, Brazil. It is organized by the Acre State Football Federation. Plácido de Castro () is a municipality located in the east of the Brazilian state of Acre on the border with Bolivia. Location The municipal seat is on the left bank of the Abunã River, which defines the boundary between Brazil and Bolivia. It is from Rio Branco by road, or as the crow flies, accessible to weekend tourists from the city via the AC-40 highway. It has an area of , and is the 19th largest in area in Acre. The municipality is bounded to the north and northwest by the municipality of Senador Guiomard, to the east by the municipality of Acrelândia, to the south by Bolivia and to the west by the municipality of Capixaba. The municipality contains the Plácido de Castro Ecological Park, a municipal conservation area that contains 113 genera of trees. An area that held large trees such as Brazil nut, rubber, cocoa and mahogany was destroyed by fire in 2005.
