2013 Kerry Senior Hurling Championship
The 2013 Kerry Senior Hurling Championship was the 112th completed staging of the Kerry Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment in 1889. The championship ran from 19 July to 27 October 2013. Ballyduff entered the championship as the defending champions, however, they were defeated by Causeway in the quarter-finals. The final, a replay, was played on 27 October 2013 at Austin Stack Park in Tralee, between St. Brendan's and Lixnaw, in what was their first ever meeting in the final. Kerry Intermediate Hurling Championship
The Kerry Intermediate Hurling Championship is an annual hurling competition contested by mid-tier Kerry GAA clubs. Kilgarvan are the title holders (2022). Extra-time can be used to determine the winners of games. Honours The winners play in the Munster Junior Club Hurling Championship, such as Kilgarvan in 2018, and if successful there, can represent the province in the All-Ireland Junior Club Hurling Championship. Unlike in other counties, the winning team is not automatically promoted to the senior grade after winning. Since Kerry has very few hurling clubs, many of the competing teams are second teams of clubs competing in the Kerry Senior Hurling Championship. Daniel Collins (hurler)
Daniel "Danny" Collins (born 1994) is an Irish hurler who plays as a center half forward for the Kerry senior team. Born in Kilmoyley, County Kerry, Collins first played competitive hurling during his schooling at Causeway Comprehensive School. Club Collins had enjoyed much success at club level in both football and hurling with Ardfert and Kilmoyley. As well as underage success with St Brendan's District. In 2012 he won a Kerry Minor Football title with the St Brendan's District team after a win over Kenmare District in the final. Ballyduff G.A.A. is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in Ballyduff, Co Kerry, Ireland. The club fields both Hurling and Gaelic football teams. Pádraig Boyle
Pádraig Boyle (born 3 December 1993) is an Irish hurler who plays for Kerry Senior Championship club Ballyduff and at inter-county level with the Kerry senior hurling team. He usually lines out as a forward. Career A member of the Ballyduff club, Boyle first came to prominence at underage levels by winning minor and under-21 championship titles. He progressed onto the club's senior team and has since won four County Championship titles. Boyle first came to prominence on the inter-county scene as a member of the Kerry minor and under-21 teams that won All-Ireland titles in the respective second tier championships. He was still eligible for the minor grade when he was drafted onto the Kerry senior hurling team in 2011, ending the season with a Christy Ring Cup title. Shane Brick
Shane Brick (born ) is a hurler from County Kerry, Ireland. He has played with the Kerry intercounty team, and originally played his club hurling with Kilmoyley. He won six Kerry Senior Hurling Championship medals with Kilmoyley. In 2014, he switched to the southeast of Cork to play with Tracton GAA. He retired from playing in 2016, and joined the management team with Douglas GAA in 2019. Inter-county career With the Kerry county hurling team, he won National Hurling League Div 2 (2001) and Div 3A (2010) titles. He was also part of the Kerry team that made the 2010 final of the Christy Ring Cup, which was won by Westmeath. He missed the following years win with an injury, before returning in 2012. Ballyheigue GAA is a hurling and gaelic football club in north County Kerry, Ireland. The club competes at all levels of hurling at county and North Kerry and also plays some underage football as well as competing in the county junior football league and the county novice football shield. History The club was founded in 1892. The field, which is named after John Joe O'Sullivan, was purchased in the 1950s. Club rooms were later built in 1974. Kilgarvan is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in County Kerry, Ireland. They play in the Intermediate Hurling Championship and Division 2 county league. Kilgarvan play football in Division 5 of the county league and in the Kenmare District Board championship and County Novice Championship. History The club was founded in 1889.
