Ballyduff G.A.A. is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in Ballyduff, Co Kerry, Ireland. The club fields both Hurling and Gaelic football teams. The club won the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship Final in 1891. History All Ireland Champions Ballyduff won the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship in 1891. They beat Wexford side Crossabeg 2-04 to 1-05 in the final. They beat Limerick's Treaty Stone in the Munster Final by 1-02 to 1-01. The team was trained by James McDonnell. This is the only time that the title was won by a Kerry team. Gaelic Athletic Association
The Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA; ga, Cumann Lúthchleas Gael ; CLG) is an Irish international amateur sporting and cultural organisation, focused primarily on promoting indigenous Gaelic games and pastimes, which include the traditional Irish sports of hurling, camogie, Gaelic football, Gaelic handball and rounders. Kerry Senior Club Hurling Championship
The Kerry Senior Hurling Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as Garvey's SuperValu Senior Hurling Championship) is an annual hurling competition organised by the Kerry County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association since 1889 for the top hurling teams in the county of Kerry in Ireland. The series of games are played during the summer months, with the county final currently being played in Austin Stack Park in August. Initially played a knock-out competition, the championship currently uses a double elimination format whereby each team is guaranteed at least two games. The 2020 championship reverted to a straight knock-out format due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Jack Goulding
Jack Goulding (born 1998) is an Irish hurler who plays as a right corner-forward at senior level for the Kerry county team. Born in Ballyduff, County Kerry, Goulding first played competitive hurling at Causeway Comprehensive School. He simultaneously came to prominence at juvenile and underage levels with the Ballyduff club. He subsequently won a county championship medal with the club's senior team. Goulding made his debut on the inter-county scene as a member of the Kerry minor team as a dual player. He enjoyed several championship seasons in this grade, culminating with the winning of All-Ireland medals in both codes. Padraig "Paud" Costelloe (born 1989) is an Irish hurler who plays as a full-back for the Kerry senior team. Born in Ballyduff, County Kerry, Costelloe first arrived on the inter-county scene when he first linked up with the Kerry minor team in both football and hurling before later joining the under-21 hurling side. He made his senior debut during the 2011 league. Costelloe quickly became a regular member of the starting fifteen and has won one Christy Ring Cup medal. Pádraig Boyle (born 3 December 1993) is an Irish hurler who plays for Kerry Senior Championship club Ballyduff and at inter-county level with the Kerry senior hurling team. He usually lines out as a forward. Career A member of the Ballyduff club, Boyle first came to prominence at underage levels by winning minor and under-21 championship titles. He progressed onto the club's senior team and has since won four County Championship titles. Boyle first came to prominence on the inter-county scene as a member of the Kerry minor and under-21 teams that won All-Ireland titles in the respective second tier championships. Mikey Boyle is a hurler who plays with Ballyduff GAA Club, Ballyduff and Kerry GAA, Kerry. Causeway Comprehensive School Boyle played with Causeway Comprehensive School during his school days. He helped the school to win the 2003 All-Ireland Vocational Schools Championship, All-Ireland Vocational Schools Football Championship after a win over Holy Trinity College, Cookstown. North Kerry Senior Football Championship
The North Kerry Senior Football Championship is a Gaelic football competition for Gaelic Athletic Association, GAA clubs affiliated to the North Kerry Division of Kerry GAA, Kerry. The official name of the competition is The Bernard O'Callaghan Memorial North Kerry Senior Football Championship, in honour of the late Bernie O'Callaghan (Beale) who was Chairman of the North Kerry GAA Board for 25 years (1974 to 1998) and did a huge amount of work for North Kerry football.
