2013 European Athletics U23 Championships
The 2013 European Athletics U23 Championships was the 9th edition of the biennial athletics competition between European athletes under the age of twenty-three. It was held in Tampere, Finland from 10 to 14 July. Russia topped the medal table with 20 medals in total, including 8 golds, before Great Britain and Germany. Pierre-Ambroise Bosse (born 11 May 1992) is a French track and field athlete specializing in middle-distance running, and in particular the 800 metres event. Career Bosse won the bronze medal in the 800 metres at the 2012 European Championships held in Helsinki. On 18 July 2014, Bosse ran his personal best time (1:42.53) at the 800 metres race at the Herculis meet, a Diamond League meeting held in Monaco; he finished the race in second place behind Nijel Amos of Botswana. Both Amos's and Bosse's times at this meeting were the first and second fastest 800 metre times in the world for 2014; with Bosse running fast enough to be the new French national record holder for the 800 metres outdoors. Abdi Hakin Ulad
Abdi-Hakin Achkel Ulad (born 14 June 1991 in Kismayo Town, Somalia) is a Danish track and field athlete competing in long-distance running (5,000 metres, 10,000 metres, half marathons and marathons). Ulad represented Denmark at the 2016 Summer Olympics and 2020 Summer Olympics. As of 2022, he is currently suspended following a failed drug test. Biography At the age of eleven, he arrived as a refugee in Denmark together with his aunt. Abdi Hakin Ulad became a citizen of Denmark through naturalization on 28 October 2010. He lives in Skælskør, competes for Hvidovre AM and his coach is Leo Madsen. Henrik Ingebrigtsen (born 24 February 1991) is a Norwegian middle-distance runner who competes mainly in the 1500 metres. He represented Norway at the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics. Charles Da'Vall Grice (born 7 November 1993), informally known as Charlie Grice, is a British middle distance athlete. Athletics career Grice started out as both a footballer, playing at county level, and an athlete, but balancing them both led to injuries and he decided to solely focus on athletics. He had a breakthrough in 2010, when he broke the English Schools' Athletics Association Championships record in the final of the 1500 metres as well as taking the title.
