PFC Levski Sofia
Levski Sofia ( bg, Левски София) is a Bulgarian professional association football club based in Sofia, which competes in the First League, the top division of the Bulgarian football league system. The club was founded on 24 May 1914 by a group of high school students, and is named after Vasil Levski, a Bulgarian revolutionary renowned as the national hero of the country. Levski has won a total of 74 trophies, including 26 national titles, 26 national cups and 3 supercups, as well as 13 domestic Doubles and 1 Treble. It is also the only Bulgarian football club to have never been relegated from the top division since the establishment of the league system in 1937. Levski has reached the quarter-finals of UEFA competitions for five times, was runner-up of the Balkans Cup twice, and in 2006, it became the first Bulgarian club to reach the group stage of the UEFA Champions League. 2013–14 PFC Levski Sofia Season
PFC Levski Sofia, Levski Sofia entered season 2013–14 as runners-up in the Bulgarian A Football Group and finalists in the Bulgarian Cup. ''The Blues'' will celebrate their 100th anniversary during this season. Summary June, July and August In June 2013 after the dramatic end of the 2012–13 season Nikolay Mitov was appointed as the manager of the club. Mitov was previously in charge as a caretaker manager. He failed to win both the championship and cup despite not losing one single game. During the summer club's president announced the return of Nasko Sirakov as general manager of the club. Sirakov was fired from the position back in 2008. Under his lead and with the coaching of Mitov the team did not succeed in European Competitions and got kicked-out in the First Round of the Europa League from Kazakh side Irtysh Pavlodar with 0–2 on aggregate. João Pedro Pereira Silva (born 21 May 1990) is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays for C.F. Estrela da Amadora as a striker. Club career Born in Vila das Aves, Santo Tirso, Silva joined the youth system of local C.D. Aves at the age of 10. He eventually made his professional debut for the club during the 2009–10 season, with the northerners in the Segunda Liga, and made an immediate impact by finishing as the league's second top scorer with 14 goals as the team finished comfortably in mid-table. Nana Opoku Agyemang-Prempeh (born 7 June 1989) commonly known as Agyemang Opoku, is a Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder. Club career Born in Obuasi, Ashanti, Opoku began his career at the AshantiGold Soccer Academy and was promoted to Ashanti Gold S.C. PFC Lokomotiv Plovdiv ( bg, ПФК Локомотив Пловдив), commonly known as Loko Plovdiv, is a Bulgarian professional football club based in Plovdiv. Márcio Ivanildo da Silva (born 25 March 1981 in Petrolândia, Pernambuco), known as Marcinho, is a Brazilian footballer who plays for Cajazeirense as an attacking midfielder. Roman Procházka (; born 14 March 1989) is a Slovak footballer who plays for Spartak Trnava as a midfielder. Club career Spartak Trnava Procházka began his career with his hometown club Spartak Trnava. On 13 May 2007, he made his debut for Spartak first team against Eldus Močenok at the age of 18. Stanislav Angelov ( bg, Станислав Ангелов; born 12 April 1978), also known as Peleto ( bg, Пелето), is a former Bulgarian footballer and currently owner and manager of Levski-Rakovski. Angelov played as a defensive midfielder, sometimes as a fullback or centre back. Career CSKA Sofia Born in Sofia, Angelov started his career at CSKA Sofia, where he played as a left back. He made his first appearance for the club during the 1998–99 season and has been a regular player since the 1999–2000 season. He made his debut on 17 April 1999, in a 0–2 home loss against Metalurg Pernik. Angelov scored his first career goal in a 4–0 win over Shumen on 6 May 2000.
