2012 Formula Pilota China
The 2012 Formula Pilota China season was the second season of the Formula Pilota China series and the last to run on regulations based upon Formula Abarth. The championship started on 17 June at Shanghai and finished on 8 December at Sepang after eighteen races held at six meetings. Teams and drivers * All cars were FPT-engined Tatuus FA10 chassis. Race calendar and results The series' provisional schedule was released on 3 March 2012. It will consist of six rounds, with three races at each round. The Guangdong and Shanghai Tianma events were dropped, while Zhuhai and the new Penbay International Circuit in Taiwan were included. Formula Pilota China
Formula Masters China, FMCS () (previously known as Formula Pilota China), was a single-seater racing series based in Asia. The series was created in 2011 after the success of the Formula Abarth championship that was created a year before. Event schedule Each event in the championship is normally run to a three-day schedule. It comprises two free practice sessions on the first day, one qualifying session and 45–55 km or 25-minute race on the second day, and a 45–55 km or 25-minute race on the third day. The grid for the second race is determined by the fastest lap in the first race; if drivers set equal times, priority will be given to driver who set the time first. Ordos International Circuit (), built in 2010, is a motorsport facility located in Kangbashi New Area, Ordos City, Inner Mongolia, China. Zhuhai International Circuit
Zhuhai International Circuit (ZIC) (simplified Chinese: 珠海国际赛车场; traditional Chinese: ) is located at Jin Ding town in Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province, China. Motorsport started in Zhuhai when it hosted a race on its street circuit in 1993. Racing continued there until 1996 when the motor racing circuit was constructed and became China's first permanent motor race track with Formula One in mind. The circuit was designed by Australian company Kinhill Engineers Pty Ltd, the same group which created the Formula One circuit in Adelaide. The project manager for the project was Michael McDonough. Shanghai Tianma Circuit () is a permanent racing circuit located at the junction of A30 motorway and Shenzhuan Road, in Sheshan, Songjiang District, Shanghai, People's Republic of China. Guangdong International Circuit is a motor sport facility located at Da Wang, Sihui, in Zhaoqing city in China, approx 45 mins by car from Guangzhou. Designed by a female Chinese designer Qiming Yao, it is the second permanent motor sport facility in Guangdong, China, after Zhuhai International Circuit.
