Germain Arena
Hertz Arena is a 7,181-seat multi-purpose arena in Estero, Florida, which is located between Miromar Lakes, Florida and Bonita Springs, Florida. The arena opened in November 1998 and serves as the home of the Florida Everblades of the ECHL. History The arena was first named Everblades Arena in 1998 after the hockey team that plays there. TECO Energy was the first company to obtain the naming rights to the building, changing the name to TECO Arena. In 2004, TECO Energy decided they were no longer interested in holding the naming rights. Germain Motor Company bought the rights, and in 2004 the venue was renamed to Germain Arena. Christopher Wallace (born November 4, 1975) is an American football quarterback for the Atlanta Havoc of the American Arena League (AAL). He played as a quarterback for the University of Toledo. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Orlando Predators in 2001. Early life Wallace attended South High School in Springfield, Ohio. 2012 Cincinnati Commandos Season
The 2012 Cincinnati Commandos season was the 3rd season for the franchise, and their first as a member of the Northern Conference of the United Indoor Football League (UIFL). Just one month after their 2011 CIFL Championship Game victory, the Commandos announced they were leaving the Continental Indoor Football League (CIFL) to join the UIFL. On August 23, 2011, it was announced that Bill Back would return as head coach for a 3rd season with the Commandos The Commandos finished the regular season 8-2 (7-2 in the Northern Conference), clinching the first round by with the top spot in the Northern Conference. The Commandos advanced to Ultimate Bowl II with a 60-42 victory over the Erie Explosion. The Commandos defeated the Florida Tarpons, 62-44 clinching their third consecutive championship. West Palm Beach Phantoms
The Palm Beach Phantoms were a professional indoor football team that were members of the National Indoor Football League in 2006. A new team with the same name played two replacement games for the Ultimate Indoor Football League in 2012. History Formed in time for the 2006 season, the West Palm Beach Phantoms were scheduled to play their home games at the Delray Beach Tennis Center in Delray Beach, Florida, which would have made them the first indoor football team to play in an outdoor venue. After losing their first two road contests, however, the Phantoms' first home game, scheduled for April 8, 2006, was called off due to a contract dispute. While the team's ownership tried to work out a deal with the tennis center, the Phantoms were sent wandering around the league as a road-only team. The 2012 Rome Rampage season was the first season for the United Indoor Football League (UIFL) franchise. On March 5, 2011, it was announced that indoor American football would be returning to Rome, Georgia in the form of the Rome River Dogs. On May 24, 2011, the River Dogs announced that they would be changing their name to the Rome Rampage, and that they would be playing at the Forum Civic Center. Cadence Bank Arena, formerly Tupelo Coliseum, BancorpSouth Center and BancorpSouth Arena is a 10,000-seat multi-purpose arena, near downtown Tupelo, Mississippi, named for the locally based Cadence Bank, a large multi-state commercial banking company. It was the home of the Tupelo FireAnts and Mississippi MudCats arena football and the Tupelo T-Rex ice hockey teams.
