2012 Cork Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship
The 2012 Cork Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship was the ninth staging of the Cork Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Cork County Board in 2004. The championship began on 27 May 2012 and ended on 7 October 2012. On 1 September 2012, Aghabullogue were relegated from the championship following a 1-21 to 0-12 defeat by Watergrasshill. On 7 October 2012, Ballinhassig won the championship following a 1-19 to 1-12 defeat of Bandon in the final. This was their second championship title overall and their first in seven championship seasons. Bandon's Ronan Crowley was the championship's top scorer with 4-33. Courcey Rovers is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the villages of Ballinspittle and Ballinadee in County Cork, Ireland. The club fields both hurling, Gaelic football and camogie teams. It has historically concentrated on hurling. The club is part of the Carrigdhoun division of Cork competitions. It used to be part of Carbery GAA but moved in the mid-1970s to Carrigdhoun GAA as it felt that it would be offered a higher chance to be able to win county championships, as there are more hurling clubs in the south east division. Kilbrittain GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the parish of Kilbrittain, County Cork, Ireland. The club fields teams in Gaelic football and Hurling, but is primarily known for hurling. The club participates in Cork GAA competitions. The club is a member of Carbery division of Cork GAA. Ballincollig GAA is a Gaelic football and hurling club based in the town of Ballincollig, County Cork, Ireland. The club is affiliated with the Cork GAA board and plays in the Muskerry divisional competitions. In 2009, the club will participate in the Cork Senior Football Championship and the Cork Intermediate Hurling Championship. Cork ( , from , meaning 'marsh') is the second largest city in Ireland and third largest city by population on the island of Ireland. Páirc Uí Rinn (), also known as Páirc Chríostóir Uí Rinn, is a Gaelic Athletic Association stadium located between Ballinlough and Ballintemple in Cork. It was previously known as Flower Lodge and was used as an association football stadium. Tracton GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the parish of Tracton in Cork, Republic of Ireland. The club is a member of the Carrigdhoun division of Cork GAA. Carrigaline GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the town of Carrigaline in County Cork, Ireland. The club fields both Gaelic football and hurling teams in competitions organised by Cork County Board. The club is part of the Carrigdhoun division of Cork. Mallow (; ) is a town in County Cork, Ireland, approximately thirty-five kilometres north of Cork. Mallow is in the barony of Fermoy.
