The 2011 Swedish Golf Tour, titled as the 2011 Nordea Tour for sponsorship reasons, was the 28th season of the Swedish Golf Tour, the main professional golf tour in Sweden since it was formed in 1984, with most tournaments being incorporated into the Nordic Golf League since 1999. Jens Dantorp
Jens Morgan Dantorp (born 28 April 1989) is a Swedish professional golfer who plays on the European Tour and the Challenge Tour. He has won three times on the Challenge Tour. Professional career Dantorp turned professional in 2008 and played on the Nordic Golf League, winning eight times between 2008 and 2012. He won four tournaments in 2011 and topped the Order of Merit. Dantorp played on the Challenge Tour in 2012 and 2013, picking up his first win in August 2013 at the Rolex Trophy. At the end of 2013 he qualified for the main tour in 2014. 2014 was a disappointing season and he returned to the Challenge Tour in 2015. Dantorp finished runner-up in the 2015 Kärnten Golf Open and finished 24th in the Challenge Tour Order of Merit. Toni Karjalainen
Toni Karjalainen (born 9 July 1979) is a Finnish professional golfer who formerly played on the European Tour and the Challenge Tour. He was his country's highest ranked male golfer and one of only a few Finnish golfers playing on the leading professional tours when he won twice on the Challenge Tour in 2005 and 2006. Amateur career As an amateur, Karjalainen represented his country at the European Youths' Team Championship, the European Amateur Team Championship and twice at the Eisenhower Trophy. The Danish Golf Tour, currently titled as the ECCO Tour for sponsorship reasons, is a developmental professional golf tour based in Denmark. Similar to the Swedish Golf Tour, most events on the Danish Golf Tour schedule are incorporated into the Nordic Golf League, one of the four third-tier tours recognized by the European Tour. History The tour was founded in 2002 as a joint venture by Dan Stage and the PGA of Denmark. The aim of the tour being to provide a new generation of golfers with optimal conditions for developing their game. The inaugural season was in 2003 where the tour hosted ten tournaments, culminating in a total prize fund of . Kristoffer Per Thomas Broberg (born 1 August 1986) is a Swedish professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. Professional career Broberg started his professional career in 2010, winning twice on the Swedish mini tour. The following two years he won four events on the Nordic Golf League. The Swedish Golf Tour Final, currently titled as The No. 1 Tour Final in Golf, is a golf tournament played as the season-ending championship of the Swedish Golf Tour. The Tour Final was introduced in the 2005 season, succeeding the Telia Grand Prix, a Challenge Tour event that had served as the season ending event for most years since 1996. The Swedish Golf Tour (women) had played the Telia Ladies Finale since 1997. The Gevalia Open was a golf tournament held at Gävle Golf Club in Gävle, Sweden from 1978. It featured on the Swedish Golf Tour from its inception in 1984 and on the Challenge Tour in 1990 and 1991.
