2011 Legends Tour ...
The 2011 Legends Tour was a series of professional golf tour events for women aged 45 and older sanctioned by the Legends Tour. Based in the United States, it is an offshoot of the main U.S.-based women's tour, the LPGA Tour. The tour was founded in 2001, and is intended to allow women to prolong their competitive golf careers on the model of the successful Champions Tour for men. Professional golf tours are the means by which otherwise unconnected professional golf tournaments are organised into a regular schedule. Christa Johnson (born April 25, 1958) is an American professional golfer. She became a member of the LPGA Tour in 1980 and won nine LPGA Tour events, including one major championship, during her career. Amateur career Born in Arcata, California, Johnson won the 1975 Northern California Junior Girls Championship and was honored as a member of the Northern California International Junior Cup Team.
