2011 Churchill Cup
The 2011 Churchill Cup, the ninth and final edition of an annual international rugby union tournament, took place in Northampton, Esher, Gloucester and Worcester. This was just the second time in the tournament's history in which England played host. Competitors The three regular participants in the event — the senior national sides of the United States and Canada, and England's "A" (second-level) national side, the England Saxons, were joined by second year participants Russia and two first-time competitors: Italy A and Tonga. England Saxons fielded a very young, promising team, while Italy A picked a very experienced side, with many of the regulars for the main national team. Format The teams played in a round-robin format between two pools to decide the elimination matches. Sixways Stadium
Sixways Stadium is a stadium in Worcester, England. It is currently used for rugby union and association football matches and is the home stadium of Premier 15s side Worcester Warriors Women, University of Worcester Warriors and football side Worcester Raiders F.C., Worcester Raiders. Prior to their administration and suspension from Premiership Rugby it was also home of Worcester Warriors. The stadium is able to hold 11,499 with parking for 1,000 cars, Sixways has 60 modern meeting and event rooms . The ground opened in 1975 and is located off junction 6 of the M5 motorway, which splits into six directions, hence the name Sixways. The Stadium commenced building on the site of the old 3rd team pitch and club house after a lottery grant in 1998. Western European Summer Time (WEST, UTC+01:00) is a summer daylight saving time scheme, 1 hour ahead of Greenwich Mean Time and Coordinated Universal Time. Tai Enosa
Tai Enosa (born 1 October 1989, in American Samoa) is an American rugby union player who plays fly-half for the Seattle Seawolves in Major League Rugby (MLR). Professional rugby career Enosa has played for the United States national under-20 rugby union team, including playing in the 2009 IRB Junior World Rugby Trophy tournament held in Kenya, and helping guide the US team to a second-place finish. Enosa was named to the US national sevens team in 2009, and in 2012 signed a professional contract to play full-time for the US national sevens team. Rory Clegg
Rory Clegg (born 6 January 1990) is a former rugby union player. He played as a Fly-half. Early life Clegg was born on 6 January 1990 at the British Military Hospital in Hanover, Germany; his father was serving in the army. He attended Barnard Castle School in County Durham and played for the School first XV coached by former Harlequin, Martin Pepper. Paul Hodgson (rugby Union)
Paul Hodgson (born 25 April 1982) is an English former rugby union player and coach. Hodgson played as a Scrum-half and his most recent professional position was attack coach for London Irish. He has since moved on to become director of sport at Cranmore School in West Horsley, Surrey, in September 2018 after completing his MEd, a position previously held by fellow London Irish player Barry Everitt. Henry Richard Trinder (born 14 April 1989) is an English rugby union player for Ampthill in the RFU Championship. Michael Young (born 31 December 1988) is a Scrum half for Rugby Union team Newcastle Falcons in the Aviva Premiership. He is a product of West Hartlepool Rugby Club junior academy.
