Micky Young
Michael Young (born 31 December 1988) is a Scrum half for Rugby Union team Newcastle Falcons in the Aviva Premiership. He is a product of West Hartlepool Rugby Club junior academy. Club career He played for the Newcastle Falcons Middlesex Sevens side, helping them to the title in 2007. In 2008 he made his senior debut for the club, making 79 appearances in his three full seasons. Young moved to Leicester in 2011, remaining there until 2013 during which time Leicester won the premiership in 2013 and Anglo-Welsh Cup in 2012. In 2013 Young signed for Leicester's premiership rival, Bath. On 5 February 2015, it was announced Young had re-signed for Newcastle Falcons. International career Young has represented the England Sevens team, most notably in May 2009 when he scored the winning try against New Zealand in the final of the London Sevens tournament. Hartlepool
Hartlepool () is a seaside and port town in County Durham, England. It is the largest settlement and administrative centre of the Borough of Hartlepool. With an estimated population of 90,123, it is the second-largest settlement in County Durham. Hartlepool is locally administrated by Hartlepool Borough Council, a unitary authority which also administrates outlying villages of Seaton Carew, Greatham, Hart Village, Dalton Piercy and Elwick. 2011–12 LV Cup
The 2011–12 LV Cup (styled as the LV= Cup) was the 41st season of England's national rugby union cup competition, and the seventh to follow the Anglo-Welsh format. The competition consisted of the four Welsh Pro12 teams and the 12 English Premiership clubs arranged into pools consisting of three English and one Welsh team. Teams were guaranteed two home and two away pool matches, with teams in Pools 1 and 4 playing each other and teams in Pools 2 and 3 playing each other, with the top team from each pool qualifying for the semi finals. The competition took place during the autumn soon after the World Cup and on international fixture dates during the Six Nations, thus allowing teams to develop their squad players. Eddie Jones (rugby Union)
Edward Jones (born 30 January 1960) is an Australian rugby union coach and former player, who was most recently the head coach of the England national team from 2015 to 2022. He previously coached Australia between 2001 and 2005, taking the team to the 2003 Rugby World Cup final. He was an advisor with South Africa when the Springboks won the 2007 Rugby World Cup, and from 2012 to 2015 he coached Japan, leading them in the 2015 Rugby World Cup and an upset win over South Africa. In November 2015, Jones was appointed head coach of England and led them to win the 2016 and 2017 Six Nations Championships, becoming only the second national team to be unbeaten in a calendar year. He led England to the 2019 Rugby World Cup final where they were beaten by South Africa. Jones played as a hooker for Sydney club Randwick and New South Wales and began coaching Randwick in 1994. The England national rugby union team represents England in men's international rugby union. They compete in the annual Six Nations Championship with France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales. 2009 Churchill Cup
The 2009 Churchill Cup took place between June 6 and June 21, 2009, marking the seventh year of the Churchill Cup. For the first time in the tournament's history, all rounds were held in the United States. This was done in an effort to reduce the cost of the tournament after the discontinued sponsorship by Barclays and to keep the tournament from being suspended for a year. Six rugby union teams took part: , England Saxons, Ireland A, the , Argentina Jaguars, and for the first time in the tournament, the Georgia national team.
