2010–11 NOFV-Oberliga
The 2010–11 season of the NOFV-Oberliga was the third season of the league at tier five (V) of the German football league system. The NOFV-Oberliga was split into two divisions, the NOFV-Oberliga Nord and the NOFV-Oberliga Süd. Berliner AK 07 and VfB Germania Halberstadt were promoted to the 2011–12 Regionalliga Nord. Reinickendorfer Füchse, Ludwigsfelder FC and 1. FC Magdeburg II were relegated, as were FC Sachsen Leipzig, having been in administration for the past two years and being dissolved on 30 June 2011. Tennis Borussia Berlin were also relegated after losing in the playoffs. NOFV-Oberliga
The NOFV- Oberliga is a division at step 5 of the German football league system. After the fall of the Berlin Wall, it became the successor of the DDR-Oberliga, and functions today as a 5th division in the former territory of East Germany and the city of Berlin. This league is named after the Nordostdeutscher Fußballverband (NOFV: North-East German Football Association), the regional association of the DFB in the former East German territories. The league is currently split in two groups, north and south, the NOFV-Oberliga Nord and NOFV-Oberliga Süd. SV Altlüdersdorf is a German football club based in Gransee, currently playing in the Brandenburg-Liga (VI) after 9 seasons in the NOFV-Oberliga Nord (V). History Established as ''Sportverein Altlüdersdorf'' in 1926, the club was lost after World War II. A successor side was established 1 January 1970 as ''BSG Traktor Altlüdersdorf'' and played as part of the separate competition that emerged in Soviet-occupied East Germany. VfB Auerbach is a German football club from the city of Auerbach, Saxony. The club also has a tennis department. Fußball Club Erzgebirge Aue e.V., commonly known as simply FC Erzgebirge Aue or Erzgebirge Aue (), is a Football in Germany, German football club based in Aue-Bad Schlema, Saxony. The former East German side was a founding member of the 3. Liga in 2008–09, after being relegated from the 2. Bundesliga in 2007–08. Relegation Playoffs
In sports leagues, promotion and relegation is a process where teams are transferred between multiple divisions based on their performance for the completed season. Leagues that use promotion and relegation systems are often called open leagues. In a system of promotion and relegation, the best-ranked team(s) in the lower division are ''promoted'' to the higher division for the next season, and the worst-ranked team(s) in the higher division are ''relegated'' to the lower division for the next season. 2011–12 Regionalliga
The 2011–12 Regionalliga season was the eighteenth season of the Regionalliga since its re-establishment after German reunification and the fourth as a fourth-level league within the German football league system. It was contested in three regional divisions. The season began on 8 August 2011 and ended on 20 May 2012. The champions of each division was promoted to the 2012–13 3. Liga. This tier of the German league pyramid was expanded to five divisions for the 2012–13 season. No team was relegated to a lower level on competitionally aspects at the end of the season. Teams A total of 55 teams will compete in three geographical divisions (North, West and South); the North and South circuits will comprise 18 sides each, while the West division was expanded to 19 teams. Lichterfelder FC
Lichterfelder FC was a German association football club from the Berlin district of Lichterfelde. The club had approximately 1,300 members and included the country's largest youth department. History The history of the association was marked by a long string of mergers and name changes. The earliest predecessor sides were ''FV Brandenburg Berlin'' founded on 20 March 1892, and ''FC Lichterfelde'' established 18 June 1912. ''FV'' fielded strongly competitive sides in the early 1900s until the club briefly split in two with the formation of ''TuFV Helvellia Berlin''. SV Germania Schöneiche is a German association football club from Schöneiche in Brandenburg. FSV Optik Rathenow is a German association football club who compete in the Oberliga. The club is situated in the city of Rathenow, near Berlin, and play their home games at the Vogelgesang.
