FC Anker Wismar
FC Anker Wismar is a German association football club based in Wismar, Germany, currently playing in the Verbandsliga Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. History The club's origins date back to 1904 when ''FC Elite Wismar'' were established. The following year, the club was renamed to ''Wismarer FC 1905''. From 1909 the club was known as ''Germania Wismar'' and during the World War II, ''TSV Wismar'' played in the Gauliga Nordmark. After the war, the club was renamed no less than four more times (''SG Wismar Süd'', ''ZSG Anker Wismar'', ''BSG Anker Wismar'' and ''BSG Motor Wismar'') before settling on the name ''TSG Wismar'' under which they played in the DDR-Liga (prior to German reunification) up until 1997 when the club was finally renamed FC Anker Wismar and as such they have become champions of the Verbandsliga Mecklenburg-Vorpommern four times – in 2000, 2004, 2010 and 2015. Dinalo Christiano Adigo (born 25 July 1972 in Cotonou) is a former Beninese football player who now works now as head coach by Lübeck Phoneix. Career Adigo played for Kickers Offenbach, including a DFB Pokal first round match against Hertha Berlin in 1994. NOFV-Oberliga Nord
The NOFV-Oberliga Nord is the fifth tier of the German football league system in the northern states of the former East Germany and West Berlin. It covers the German states of Berlin, Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and northern Saxony-Anhalt. It is one of fourteen Oberligas in German football. Until the introduction of the 3. Liga in 2008 it was the fourth tier of the league system, and until the introduction of the Regionalligas in 1994 the third tier. Wismar
Wismar (; Low German: ''Wismer''), officially the Hanseatic City of Wismar (''Hansestadt Wismar'') is, with around 43,000 inhabitants, the sixth-largest city of the northeastern German state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, and the fourth-largest city of Mecklenburg after Rostock, Schwerin and Neubrandenburg. The Verbandsliga Mecklenburg-Vorpommern is the sixth tier of the German football league system and the highest league in the German state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. Gauliga Nordmark
The Gauliga Nordmark was the highest football league in the Prussian Province of Schleswig-Holstein and the German states of Hamburg, Lübeck, Mecklenburg-Schwerin, Mecklenburg-Strelitz and parts of Oldenburg from 1933 to 1945. Shortly after the formation of the league, the Nazis reorganised the administrative regions in Germany, and the ''Gaue'' ''Hamburg'', ''Mecklenburg'' and ''Schleswig-Holstein'' replaced the Prussian province and the German states in this northern region of Germany. From 1942, the ''Gauliga Nordmark'' was split into three separate leagues, the ''Gauliga Hamburg'', ''Gauliga Mecklenburg'' and the ''Gauliga Schleswig-Holstein''. The DDR-Liga (English: GDR League or ''East German League'') was, prior to German reunification in 1990, the second level of football competition in the DDR (Deutsche Demokratische Republik or German Democratic Republic, commonly East Germany), being roughly equivalent to the 2. Bundesliga in West Germany.
