2010 British Indoor Athletics Championships
The 2010 British Indoor Athletics Championships was the 4th edition of the national championship in indoor track and field for the United Kingdom. It was held from 13–14 February at the English Institute of Sport, Sheffield, England. A total of 24 events (divided evenly between the sexes) were contested over the two-day competition. Andrew Osagie
Andrew Osagie (born 19 February 1988 in Harlow, Essex) is an English athlete who specialises in the 800 metres. He represents Harlow Athletic Club at club level and Great Britain at international level. He is the fourth fastest Briton of all time. While attending St Mary's University College he made rapid progress to win his first national titles and international medals. Osagie has performed well indoors, winning bronze medals at the IAAF World Indoor Championships in 2012 and 2014, as well as ranking second on the British Indoor All-Time list. In the men's 800 metres final at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, he finished eighth in a time of 1:43.77. This time would have won gold in all but two other Olympic Games, but the winner David Rudisha set a world record and the remaining medallists set the fastest time for place in the event. Tom Parsons (high Jumper)
Thomas ("Tom") Martin Parsons (born 5 May 1984 in Birmingham, United Kingdom) is a British athlete competing in high jump. Parsons finished 20th in the 2003 European Juniors, 17th in the 2005 European U23 championships, 10th in the 2005 World University Games, 11th at the 2006 Commonwealth Games and 10th in the World Championships at Osaka. Parsons represented Great Britain at the 2008 Summer Olympics in the high jump where he finished 8th with a jump of 2.25. Samson Oni (born 25 June 1981) is a Nigerian-English high jumper. Early in his career Oni won the 2001 AAA Indoor Championships while representing Nigeria. He also competed in the 2007 European Indoor Championships, the 2008 World Indoor Championships, and the 2009 European Indoor Championships without reaching the final. Sir Charles Lawrence Somerset Clarke, 7th Baronet, OLY (born 12 March 1990) is a former professional 110 m hurdler who finished fourth in the London Olympic Games 110 m hurdles final. He is the son of Sir Toby Clarke, 6th Baronet and succeeded to the baronetcy on his father's death in 2019. Gianni Frankis (born 16 April 1988) is a British-born Italian athlete specialising in the sprint hurdles. He represented Great Britain at the 2009 World Championships without advancing from the first round. In addition, he won several medals at age-group competitions. Thomas Benjamin Lancashire (born 2 July 1985 in Bolton, Greater Manchester) is an English middle-distance runner. Lancashire represented Great Britain at the 2008 Summer Olympics in the 1500 m. Tom is a life member of Bolton Harriers and regularly races in club colours. Lancashire studied exercise science at Florida State University. Andrew James Vernon (born 7 January 1986) is a British long-distance runner who specialised in the 5000 metres, the 10,000metres on track and cross country running. After the 2018 commonwealth games and started to concentrate on the roads winning Manchester Half Marathon with the aim of doing a full marathon in 2019. Vernon competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in the men's 10,000metres. He has also competed in two Commonwealth Games, a World Indoor Championship and six World Cross Country Championships.
