Suwon Hyundai Engineering & Construction Hillstate ( ko, 수원 현대건설 힐스테이트) is a South Korean professional volleyball team. The team was founded in 1977 and became fully professional in 2005. They are based in Suwon and are members of the Korea Volleyball Federation (KOVO). Their home arena is Suwon Gymnasium in Suwon. History The team won its first championship title in the 2010–11 season. In March 2016, Hyundai Hillstate won the club's second championship title by defeating the 2015–16 regular season winners Hwaseong IBK Altos 3–0 in the finals. Suwon
Suwon (, ) is the capital and largest city of Gyeonggi-do, South Korea's most populous province which surrounds Seoul, the national capital. Suwon lies about south of Seoul. Jangchung Arena
The Jangchung Arena () is an indoor sporting arena located in Jung District, Seoul, South Korea. Volleyball teams GS Caltex Seoul KIXX and Seoul Woori Card WooriWON are the tenants. History At first, the arena was an army gymnasium, built on 23 June 1955. It was later fully reconstructed and opened on 1 February 1963. In 1966, the venue hosted a boxing match between Kim Ki-soo and Nino Benvenuti, where Kim became the first South Korean to win the boxing world championships. During the 1970s, the venue hosted the presidential elections and inaugurations of Park Chung-hee and Choi Kyu-hah. The venue hosted judo and taekwondo events at the 1988 Summer Olympics.
