2009–10 FIS Freestyle Skiing World Cup
The 2009/10 FIS Freestyle Skiing World Cup was the thirty first World Cup season in freestyle skiing organised by International Ski Federation. The season started on 12 December 2009 and lasted until 18 March 2010. This season included three disciplines: moguls, aerials and ski cross. Bryon Wilson
Bryon Wilson (born April 7, 1988) is an American freestyle skier and Olympic bronze medalist. He earned a spot on the US Freestyle Ski Team for the 2010 Winter Olympics after a solid beginning to the 2009–10 FIS Freestyle Skiing World Cup season where he had two 2nd-place finishes during the first weekend of competition at Suomu, Finland. Bryon was born and lived in Butte, Montana, for most of his life until his family made the decision to move to Park City, Utah, to be closer to an advanced training facility to enable him, along with his younger brother Brad Wilson, to advance their skills and build a career in competitive skiing. The boys learned gymnastics from a young age and began skiing as toddlers. They later began to combine the two sports. Both brothers train at Deer Valley and the Utah Olympic Park in Park City. Patrick Deneen (skier)
Patrick Deneen (born December 25, 1987) is an American freestyle skier, specializing in moguls. Deneen was the gold medalist at the 2009 International Ski Federation (FIS) Freestyle World Ski Championships. In December 2009, Deneen won the US Olympic trials, held at Steamboat Springs, Colorado, securing a spot on the US Olympic Team for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. In FIS World Cup events, he has reached the podium at 4 events in 25 starts, and was the 2008 Freestyle Rookie of the Year. Åre () is a locality and one of the leading Scandinavian ski resorts situated in Åre Municipality, Jämtland County, Sweden with 3,200 inhabitants in 2018. Lake Placid is a village in the Adirondack Mountains in Essex County, New York, United States. As of the 2020 census, the population was 2,303. Dmitry Reiherd (born 8 January 1989 in Oskemen) is a Kazakh freestyle skier, specializing in moguls. Reiherd competed at the 2006 and 2010 Winter Olympics for Kazakhstan. Vincent Marquis (born April 15, 1984 in Quebec City, Quebec) is a Canadian freestyle skier who currently resides in Quebec City. Vincent Marquis participates in moguls. Skiing career Marquis has been part of two historic sweeps of the medal podiums on the 2008-09 FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup tour with Alexandre Bilodeau and Pierre-Alexandre Rousseau.
