Dmitriy Reiherd
Dmitry Reiherd (born 8 January 1989 in Oskemen) is a Kazakh freestyle skier, specializing in moguls. Reiherd competed at the 2006 and 2010 Winter Olympics for Kazakhstan. His best performance came in 2010, when he qualified for the moguls final, finishing 18th. In 2006, he finished 33rd in the qualifying round, and did not advance. As of February 2013, his best showing at the World Championships came in 2009, placing 15th in the moguls event. Reiherd made his World Cup debut in February 2005. As of February 2013, he has won one World Cup event, a Dual Moguls competition at Åre in 2007/08. This result included defeating 2006 Olympic moguls champion Dale Begg-Smith in the final. Oskemen ( kk, Өскемен, translit=Öskemen ), or Ust-Kamenogorsk (russian: Усть-Каменого́рск), is the administrative center of East Kazakhstan Region of Kazakhstan. Population: Name The city has two official names. In the Kazakh language, its name is Өскемен/''Öskemen'' and in the Russian language it is known as Усть-Каменогорск. Chongli District (; ) is a district of Zhangjiakou, Hebei province, China. By road, it is from Beijing. 2022 Winter Olympics Chongli District will stage most of the skiing events during the 2022 Winter Olympics. The ski resort has earned over 1.54 billion yuan (237.77 million U.S. dollars) in tourism from the 2015-2016 snow season for a 31.6 percent growth over the previous season. In 2016 it was announced that Chongli has received 2.185 million tourists for an increase of 30 percent during the first snow season after the winning the Olympic bid. Rukatunturi
Rukatunturi ( fi, Ruka) is a high fell and a ski resort in Kuusamo, Finland. Apart from downhill skiing, there are over 500 km of cross-country skiing tracks. Also snowmobiles can be rented to enjoy some of the area's 600 km of snowmobile routes (of which 100 km are safari organizers' private routes). Ruka is also the southern end of the Karhunkierros hiking trail. The total of trails in Ruka and Kuusamo area is: 160 km of hiking trails, 605 km of biking routes, 350 km of classified paddling routes (including class 1–4 whitewater paddling) and 100 km of boating routes. Dale Begg-Smith
Dale Begg-Smith (born 18 January 1985) is an Australian-Canadian businessman and former Olympic freestyle skier. Begg-Smith won the gold medal for Australia in the men's moguls event at the 2006 Winter Olympics and silver at the 2010 Winter Olympics. Early years Begg-Smith formed an internet company when he was 13 years old. He was skiing for his native Canada as a teenager when his coaches told him he was spending too much time on his successful business and not enough time in training. So Begg-Smith quit the Canadian ski program and, along with his brother Jason Begg-Smith, moved to Australia at age 16 to live with his cousin Nicole. Åre () is a locality and one of the leading Scandinavian ski resorts situated in Åre Municipality, Jämtland County, Sweden with 3,200 inhabitants in 2018.
