GET-ligaen
Eliteserien, known as Fjordkraftligaen due to sponsorship, is the premier Norwegian ice hockey league, organised by the Norwegian Ice Hockey Association. It comprises 10 clubs and works on the premise of promotion and relegation, in which the two teams who placed last must play the top two teams from First Division (the league ranked immediately below) for the rights to play in the next Eliteserie season. History The Norwegian Ice Hockey Association (NIHF) was founded on 16 September 1934. The same season also saw the debut of a national league for ice hockey. It was then known as 1. divisjon (''1st division''), a name it held until 1990, when the elite clubs broke away and formed a new top league, Eliteserien (''The Elite League''). In 2004, telecommunications company UPC bought the naming rights for the league. UPC Norway changed its name to GET in 2006 and hence the name of the league was also altered. David Rautio
David Rautio (born July 29, 1985) is a Swedish professional ice hockey goaltender. He is currently playing for SCL Tigers in the National League (NL). Playing career Rautio played youth hockey and has played a large part of his professional career with his hometown club, Luleå HF, of the then Elitserien. He joined Linköping from Luleå, on a two-year contract on April 16, 2014. Rautio played three seasons with Brynäs IF before leaving as a free agent following the 2018–19 season. On 23 April 2019, he returned for a third stint with original club, Luleå HF, signing a two-year contract. During the 2020–21 season, Rautio would transfer for a second stint with Linköping HC. Phil Osaer (born 10 February 1980 in Livonia, Michigan) is an American former professional ice hockey goaltender, who played in the North American minor leagues before moving to partake a career abroad in Norway and Britain. Playing career In the 1999 NHL Entry Draft, Osaer was selected by St. Louis Blues in the seventh round, as the 203rd overall pick. In April 2007, Osaer turned down a substantial offer from a Norwegian ice hockey club to stay with Cardiff Devils The Cardiff Devils are a Welsh ice hockey team who play in the British Elite Ice Hockey League. Patrick Joseph DesRochers (born 27 October 1979) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender. He played 11 games in the National Hockey League with the Phoenix Coyotes and Carolina Hurricanes between 2001 and 2003. The rest of his career, which lasted from 1999 to 2013, was spent in the minor leagues or in Europe. Playing career He played junior hockey for the Sarnia Sting and Kingston Frontenacs of the Ontario Hockey League. Johan Olsson (ice Hockey)
Johan Olsson (born 20 February 1978) is a Swedish professional ice hockey forward currently playing for Stjernen of Norway's GET-ligaen Olsson started his professional career with hometown club Färjestads BK and in his first season with the team, 1996/97, the team won the Swedish Championship. The following season the team won the Championship again. But Olsson did not play many games in the two season and decide to leave to club and signed with the Norwegian club Stjernen. Olsson had a really good season in Norway scoring 38 points in 44 games. That made some clubs in Sweden interested of him and he signed with second league club Mora IK in the summer of 1999. But he only stayed for one year with Mora before he signed with Tranås AIF (also a second league club), but he was successful there either and left the club after one year.
